My DJ has his own company..do I still tip him? I thought I read somewhere that you only tip if its someone who works for a company preforming at your wedding...but what if the person is the owner? How does that work...
I thought I heard that you don't tip if they are the owner. I think I would still tip something, though.
I am not tipping my DJ becaue he is the owner of the company, I pay him enough $$$$$. Plus I am providing him a meal too. but if he has an assistant then I will just tip his assistant.
I've heard the same thing about not tipping owners. But i would offer and let him choose whether or not to accept.
I'm not sure, but this is a good question. Initially I would think no-but if they do an amazing job you may want to give them something. Usually thie boss doesn't get a tip.

Yea, thats what I was thinking too. He is going to be bringing an assistant..so I will prob. tip him..but dont know about the owner (he is the one that is going to be doing most of the work)..he also told me that he doesnt need a meal...so I save myself some $$$ there...

THis is all so trueThey make so much money as it is and they also get to sit down and have a very $$$$ meal!
I was planning on tipping a little, not as much as if he worked for the owner.
