As many as it takes until you are happy with your look. I'm on two of each, but booked the second make-up artist, thinking of doing another hair trial (#3) to do an updo.

Re: Q 'bout hair/makeup trials
I had 2 hair trails & 2 makeup trials...
The first trials, I basically saw if I liked the vendor & their style of work & the second were to finalize what I wanted done.

Re: Q 'bout hair/makeup trials
I just had one because I knew what hairdresser I was going to use, it was just a matter of playing around with my hair to see what I liked!

Re: Q 'bout hair/makeup trials
I ended up going for two hair trials and one makeup trial. The first one wasnt awful but there was something nagging me about it (like the fact that I had bobby pins falling out of my hair about 15 minutes after i left.)
Id say go till you find someone you like, but definitely set a cut-off point (going to 6 trials seems excessive but thats just me)

Re: Q 'bout hair/makeup trials
I have an apt on Sept 29th. I wanted the apt to be closer to the date so my girl remembers me.
