q for ladies who are already married...

Did you have no-shows? If so, how many?

Thank you so much!!! I have been reading/hearing about no-shows on some of the posts and I am wondering what I can (possibly) expect??

i had a few no shows, not many but cant remember exactly

trust me and dont even worry about this, they dont show thats on them, it wont effect your day and you wont care that day.

I didnt have any no-shows on the day of the wedding, but I did have 4 people cancel on me the week of the wedding, after I had paid it off in full.

Same thing--no no-shows day-of, but we had EIGHT people back out the week of after we had already given and paid for the final count...

Yes we had 2 no-shows

I got married on a Saturday and had to give my final headcount and payment the thursday before.
After i left Sans Souci i got a call from MIL saying that her nieces husband wasnt coming. This is like 3 days before!

I called sans souci an hour later and they would not give me the money back

We had one more no-show the day of, one of DH's friends guest did not come.

Thankfully when we gave our final count, we underestimated it by 2 people.
So we ended up peferct, we didnt owe them anything and we didnt pay for people who didnt show up

3 no shows (out of 163 who responded yes)

1 was a husband/relationship issue
1 was sick
1 didn't get a flight out (was on standby)

I have to say I really didn't care...and they all gave very generous gifts and covered their missing person!!!

I didn't have any no shows the day of the wedding but I did have about 4 cancellations the week of .. Thank goodness Crest Hollow didn't make me pay for them

One person and her guest...she came to the ceremony and then her mother was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery....i felt so bad for her!

8 no shows - 2 people called three days after we put our final count in that they couldn't make it due to an emergency surgery that they needed (understandable) so I should of gotten a few friends to show up or opted for some of you girls to come. THEN the day off, 6 people from DH's job (3 coworkers and dates) just didn't call or show up. No explanation afterwards NOTHING.

I have such kind words for those BASTARDS.

We had maybe 8 people cancel or not show. I think. It might have been 4. I can't remember who did what.

I feel good about my perspective on it. Don't sweat it.
