FH loves it. should i see if i can get a dominican cake as a grooms cake? Could i get it decorated with fondant over that special icing they use? do people do this? do you know someone who makes them?

I'll also ask my FMIL if she knows anyone who makes them etc.
I know a woman in Hempstead who works out of her house. She made my engagement cake. FM if you want her info. If I can remember when I get home, I will post pictures of the cake. It was so good there were no left overs!

i guess they could peel the fondant off when they are cutting the cake. i dunno.

Dont know where you are but I know a place in upper Manhattan that have the best tasting and most gorgeous looking dominican cake that I have seen in my 25 years of eating dominican cake.
