sorry for posting this late today but i was actually doing wedding related things this morning which gave me the idea for my last question.
has liw changed your life in any way?
its changed for me a little because ive been lucky enough to meet some new and interesting people. if it wasnt for this site who else could i talk to about weddings all day long

It's definitely given me people to talk about wedding with nonstop, lol, and actually I've met some girls that I've become good friends with. It's also even given me ideas about a possible career change

I wouldn't have my wedding dress if it wasn't for Jancie and Barb. Without LIW I would never have known them.
Also there is a really great support system that has come out of LIW.

It has allowed me to talk about weddings nonstop which I really love... and I have met some awesome people!!! I have gotten some great ideas and help from everyone... and it's really just a great support system. Where else can we go everyday and vent or freak out and have people understand???

I don't know what I'd do without LIW. You guys are great and you've made me excited about my wedding! At first, I was so weird about it. I was nervous and scared and I didn't even know where to begin with planning! Now, I'm so excited!!!

It's definitely helped me with regard to finding out different wedding websites, and what the norm is for weddings right now... and its also given me ideas that i never would have thought of... also you guys are pretty much awesome people that i never would have had the opportunity to meet if it werent for LIW...

I have said many times, but gonna say again: LIW is like a family to me. Being that my parents are so far away and having u guys to talk to all the time, wedding related or not is amazing. I made some great friends which was my biggest problem since moving to the US and I am so thankful for all the support I keep getting on here.

While definitely a constant source of distraction, it is the best distraction I could have ever hoped for! I am pretty confident that I'd be a wedding-planning mess without all of you. And those of you that I've had the pleasure of meeting aren't so bad either!

LIW has def made wedding planning so much more fun. I have people who I can talk about my wedding with every day, that is soooo not the case for my 'offline' life. I also got soooo many great ideas and so much advice from you girls. It's funny how much I trust the opinions of people who I've never even met before. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

If it wasn't for liw I have no clue what my wedding plans would like like right now. Also without this site I wouldn't have made the greatest friends ever. I love everyone on the 2010 boards u guys have helped me out tremendously when noone was posting on the 11 boards. Mwah girls u are fab xoxoxoxxo

LIW has been amazing - from the beginning when I first joined, I had no idea what to do, where to start, or where to look. So many of you ladies have been so helpful with everything from the stupidest questions to the most important.
I would have never picked out my eparty invites, favors, wedding invites, ANYTHING. I am the first of my friends to be getting married and it is great to be able to turn to you girls with opinions and advice. Also, I have met so many amazing girls on here and I love speaking to you girls each and every day and look forward to it! I really value all your opinions about everything and really think I would still be planning my eparty at this very moment if it wasn't for you!!
oh and I reunited with my twin! I have formed so many close bonds with some of you girls and it is so nice to have people to talk to who can relate, no matter how stressed, angry, excited and nervous we are!!
Love you all so so much and I can't wait for 2010 to be here and watching each and every one of us getting married!! It really will be an amazing year!!!!

If it wasn't for LIW I don't think I would have known where to begin with some things. I also got a lot of great recommendations regarding vendors from you ladies and I can't thank you enough. I can't wait for 2010 to be here to start seeing all the wonderful brides get married!!

What a great question!
This website helped me in so many ways for my wedding: If it wasnt for LIW, I may have never found my fabulous photgrapher (Duet) and my florist (Flower Barn). I would have never thought of having a DOC. I would never have known there was a such thing as bpics. I would have never known about invites. I would have never thought of all the fabulous details to add to my wedding.
In addition, I love all the support from all of you girls! I love talking to everyone on here every day. I love getting to meet you at g2gs, last year's twoty, the 2010 bridal shower, and other liw events.
I love all the friendships I've made because of this!

Absolutely...couldn't have gotten so much done, with so much ease with these ladies. What a great source of information and sisterhood. It's just so nice to be able to talk about your wedding all the time.

ETA: No, but honestly, I am really amongst the first of my friends to get married, so I don't know if I'd ever know about alllll the extras.
Most importantly, this is such a supportive community, and I love being able to talk about my wedding.

Kinda late to answer but I absolutely love, love, love LIW!! I couldn't imagine wedding planning without it! Changed my life for the better, the kind of social network you don't want to be without.
