I went to my first & hopefully my last Photography studio last night in which I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE them... But I have a question and completely overwhelmed with choices...
For any of you who have booked your photography (brides to be) and any of you ladies that are happily married...What do you think is the most important items to put in your wedding photo packages? PLEASSSSSE HELP...
Thanks a bunch!

or the other package that I might be interested in.... (we can customize it and add or take away anything)

Re: Q on Photographers...
My package included 6-5x7's, so I spoke to them and was able to take the additional 5x7's and add them into our parent albums. So instead of having 2-24 page parent albums, they said I could get 2-27 page parent albums (because I really do not need the additional 5x7's since I get all the proofs). So I really liked that. I also wanted the photographer for the whole reception, so we are getting him for 12 hours, and they gave that to us (I think the normal package was for 10 hours). And I got additional Thank You's thrown in. I think those were the 3 things that I changed in my package with them. Everything else I kept the same.

Re: Q on Photographers...
For me the most important thing was just to make sure that my photographer gave me the negatives (or, since we had all digital, a CD of high quality picture files). As for the rest of the stuff, it just depends on what you want (how many albums, photo thank yous, etc.)

i think it's really important to get the negatives/digital negatives! this way you can reprint on your own w/o having to pay an arm and a leg.
also, i noticed that your album only has 24 prints. i think at the minimum, you're gonna want at least 80 pictures...actually i'd say 100 would be ideal. this is definitely something that you should negotiate into your contract now, rather than later.

Keep in mind that the number of prints you get in the album also depends on the type of album you want. Traditional albums pretty much have one large picture on each page where digital can have a handful so keep that in mind. 24 is the low end # of pics for an album and you probably will want to add more at some point but less pictures is not necessarily bad either. I think I'm going to end up with about 60. And remember, if you get the high resolution jpegs you can print to your hearts content. I'm actually using those to make the parent albums on my own. Good luck!

Re: Q on Photographers...
We wanted to have a 16 x 20 canvas photo of us included in the package.
We also wanted to have all the proofs on a CD so we could make pictures of anything we wanted.

Re: Q on Photographers...
One of the most important things was getting the negatives on a DVD.

Re: Q on Photographers...
I would get as much in your package as possible. My sister got a standard package and spent so much money adding extra pages and extra enlargements later on!
