* QOD June 8th *

Happy Friday ladies!!

Today's question is regarding the most important part of our wedding day, the vows!
Are you (did you) using the provided vows or did you write your own?
Are you (did you) doing anything to personalize your vows?
Are you (did you) making a keepsake out of your vows to display after your wedding day? If so, what?

We are using the vows provided by our church. I fell in love with the idea of using vows that have been around for over a century. I am hoping we will be able to memorize them prior to our big day.
I have been searching etsy looking for a cute way to display them in our home.

We are in the process of attempting to write our own vows...but it isn't going so well! We're trying to come to get ours to match in tone and length, but without actually reading them to each other! Not an easy task.

We wont be dong our own vows but hopefully doing a morepersonalized ceremony since Pastor April Gismond is marrying us. We will incorporate a unity candle that I'm making.

I would love to write on our vows but I think I will be an emotional wreck and wont be able to get them out LOL
