something i've always been curious about...

How long were you together before you got engaged? and how long will u be engaged before you get married?

FH proposed to me after 1 year and 4 months. it was a complete shock to me because we hadnt talked about marriage! And by the time we get married in April, we'll have been engaged 2 years :)

We were together for 3 years before we got engaged (although if it were up to FH, we probably would have been engaged after 1.5 years). We will have been engaged just under 10 months.

We were together for a year and a half when he proposed. I was completely shocked, he was hinting at Christmas! When we get married we'll have been engaged for 14 months and together almost 3 years.

We were together a year and a month before FH proposed to me and by the time we get married we will be engaged for a year and a half!!

My FH proposed to me after 10 months. He prosposed in July and we are getting married in April
All so fast, but best Decison we ever made :)

We were together 3 years before he proposed and our engagement was only 10 months....not getting any younger!! haha

FH proposed after 3 1/2 years. 2 yr engagement so we will be together 5 1/2 years when we tie the knot.

My fiance and I were dating one month shy of 6 years when we got engaged last October. We will be engaged 7 months when we get married

We were officially together a year to the day that he proposed...and will be together exactly 2 years and three months the day we get married...apparently we like the third day of the month haha

We were together a little over 2 1/2 years when he proposed. I knew it was coming I just wasn't sure when.
We will be engaged 2 years and 2 months when we marry.
We will be together approx 5 years.

FH and I were together for 1 year and 2mths before we got engaged and by the time we get married we will have been engaged for 6 months! We were going to have a longer engagement but the place we fell in love with (WM) only had a few dates that we liked left!

We got engaged on our 4yr anniversary & will be 2 months shy of being together 6yrs when we get married. We'll be engaged for 22months when we get married.

We were together a little over a year when he proposed. We will be engaged for 2 years this May. When we get married in September it will be two months shy of 4 years of being together. Time flies!

We have been friends for 14 years. We dated when I was 17 for 1 year then got back together about 3 years ago. We got engaged December 2011 and will be engaged for 2 years.

We were together for 2 years and just under 8 months and engaged for 18 days when we got married! We had a very small intimate first wedding and we are haveing our BIG wedding this year for out 5 year anniversary.
