Happy hump day!!!
Question for today is, how long after you started dating your FH, you introduced him to your parents/family and when did he introduce you to his?
I met his dad in the first couple of weeks ( FH lived at his fathers house when we first started out) and the rest of his family if I remember correctly 2-3 months later at a family function.
I was pretty hesitant to bring him around my family, only because I have young siblings and they get attached so I wanted to make sure that we were going in the right path.. He met my dad about 7 months after we started dating, FH called my dad a week before my planned surgery to get to know him and to tell him that he will take care of me after my operation . Needless to say, it was love at first site with FM and my family!

I actually met his brother, nephew and sister-in-law first (I would say 3-4 months after we started dating) and then we all went out to dinner a month or so after. My father and him met a while after. I really wanted to take things slow, but I spoke with my father about now my FH every other day = )

I met his father pretty soon after we started dating (maybe a month or so) but the rest of his family was a few months later at a dinner for his birthday. He met my parents (as well as about 20 other relatives and friends) at a Fathers Day BBQ at my parents house. Which was about 6-7 months after we started dating - I only waited so long bc I was away at college for alot of that time

We met in 7th grade so it's not like we could go far without our parents lol. My parents love him and his love me.. Thank god! I feel horrible for girls on here with in-law issues!

We have known each others families for years so I could really say how long for my immediate family. For him to meet my father and that family was about 6 months. My aunt who lives in DE was about a year and a half.

I was pretty lucky because my parents and my father's whole side of the family already knew him. He was/is good friends with my older cousins and actually lived upstairs from my grandparents in the apartment I grew up in, so luckily no introduction was needed. It was great that they already knew him and considered him part of the family.

FH and I were not dating when he met my parents. We met when working at TGI Fridays, so one night my parents came in for dinner I sat them in his section. But, the first time he really met my family once we started dating was about 2 months in... I brought him to my cousin's wedding. He got to meet everyone! It was fun. I met his mother soon after we were dating because we spent a lot of time at her house, but she didn't warm up to me until we were engaged..... 6 years later.... now I think she likes me?

FH and I met in July and I met his cousin a month later. She is like a sister to him so he told me I had to meet her before anyone else. We met each others parents sometime in October. He met my brother and cousin before he met my parents at a concert. He won them over by paying for their beer all night.

I started working with FH and his brother when I was 16 but I met his parents 8 years later after our third week of dating. He met mine a week after that. My parents adore him and his parents love me. His brothers might as well be my own(and I already have two.) lol
