Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. My question for today is:
Who does/will do most of the cooking in your relationship? What is your favorite dish that FH cooks for you? What would be one recipe of yours that he loves?
I usually cook three nights a week and he cooks twice. We go out to eat on Friday or Saturday night, and Sundays are spent with his family for “Sunday dinner”. It has become a routine that we are both happy with. I definitely like the chicken with Italian dressing that FH makes. He loves my chicken scampi (I would make shrimp scampi, but he doesn’t eat seafood).

I'm the official cook in the relationship and I cook about 4 nights a week the other nights we might eat left overs or a sandwich we do take out usually 1x a week. FH actually used to work as a line cook so he has skills for sure but rarely is home ontime to cook anyway. We do mainly chicken and turkey dishes since we're on a diet and one of FHs favs is the buffalo chicken meatballs I make which are so simple but he just loves them. Onetime for my birthday FH went over the top and cooked such a fantastic meal that I still dream about, filet mignon wrapped on bacon, with creamy cheddar mashed potatoes, and sautéed garlic green beans. Mmmn seriously mouth is watering lol it was Amazing. Clearly I couldn't eat like that everyday but it was nice to be spoiled on my birthday!

I am the chef in this relationship. On our 2nd date, we went to his place (now our place) and I kicked him out of his own kitchen and made chicken francaise. He's been hooked ever since.
He still does cook sometimes, but it's usually 'burger tuesdays' when we have his kids for dinner, and he makes an incredible chili. Anything else, he defers to me.

FH does no cooking whatsoever. I cook every night unless we have other plans like going to our parents houses or if we have to go somewhere. And I also do all the dishes and cleanup... For tonight I made dinner reservations because we have had a gift card for a restaurant since Christmas and still haven't used it. Lol. It's hard sometimes for me to come up with different things to make every night even though I love to cook. I don't know what his favorite is, maybe when I make carbonara pasta (pasta w bacon and a fried egg). He can eat eggs for breakfast lunch and dinner. And my fave thing for him to make is reservations lol

FH is the designated chef in our house. I make dinner occasionally, but he would rather I do the dishes and I'd rather he cooked. It kinda works out well.
My favorite thing that he makes is chicken stirfry with veggies and he loves anything I make on the grill. I'm definitely the grill master at this point. lol

I do all of the cooking in our relationship and will continue to do that once we get married. I cook every night and FH appreciates it since he is not the greatest cook. He thinks grilled cheese is 2 pieces of bread, cheese and a microwave... No way...
My favorite dish that FH cooks for me would be nothing haha! He doesn't cook so he hasn't made me anything that I haven't given him direction on.
His favorite recipe of mine would have to be my Hungarian Goulash. He loves it!

I cook 99% of the meals we eat at home because FH can only made a few things...and because I am very territorial with my kitchen. He does make a mean dish of biscuits with sausage gravy.
FH is good on the grill but he's a charcoal purist and I like my gas grill because I don't gave the patience for charcoal. FH loves when I grill burgers stuffed with bleu cheese or smoked Gouda. He is also a big fan of my beer can chicken (made with a Guinness sauce). I love the way he cremates the hot dogs lol.
We both cook, but I do most of it so he can do the dishes. Though I often end up doing this too anyway because I'm already in Kitchen Mode.
Being a good FH, he likes everything I make, but I think one of his favorites is my mozzarella-stuffed black bean turkey burgers. And while he's also a good cook, one of my favorites is his Not-So-Fat-@$$ Casserole - turkey chili, Knorr mac and cheese Pasta Sides, and baked Lay's potato chips all baked in the oven!

When FH was in high school he used to work in a deli and won't let me cook cause he thinks he's the best lol. Since FH makes the best hibachi rice side dish.
I honestly can't cook unless its out of a box. Once we get our house I'm gonna learn and hopefully I can answer this question better in a few months lol

I've just been cooking for the past year or so, since FH and I moved in together. We'll get there!

we both LOVE to cook. in the begining he cooked most, but I have taken it over! he loves when I make him lasagna which I have down pretty good but I'm trying to perfect it. He loves to cook steak and potatoes (so manly!) but it's one of my favorites
