After the proposal, how did you and FH celebrate your engagement?

FH took me out to a nice Mexican restaurant that night... and then we came back to my house to soak it all in and call everyone we knew!

we're sooo lame, we didn't do anything except well and then the next day fh went away for a week and i didn't get to see him

we really never celebrated, celebrated our engagement, there are people in his family that keep overshading us and i don't get to have wedding excitement when i go over there because someone will always steal my thunder

We were in the San Diego Zoo, so we continued our visit throughout the park, then went back to our hotel. We called people, then went out to dinner

he proposed right before the islanders game. so we went to the game and most of my family and firends were there. then after the game we had everyone back to my house to celebrate.

He had a party planned at my house after the proposal so after we called family to tell them, everyone rushed over and my parents had a cake and champane ready

We had popeyes in his car

It may seem cheesy or ghetto but it is sentimental to me. Being that we met in High school, popeyes was our favorite after school spot, we spent hundreds of hours in that place!

It was Christmas, so the family was already together. We had an engagement party a few months later to celebrate with all of our friends and family

So cute; we were in the Bronx Zoo

Evryone in my family knew already. When we got back from the zoo, we all went to Applebees. The next weekend we had a small thing with FHs family.

we were in Disney so right after the fireworks we were given a bunch of fastpasses so we jumped on every ride we could lol.

then we got back to our hotel room and passed out due to exhaution (which i'm assuming wil happen our weddng night too)

he took me to roosevelt island to pop the question. on the way back to my house, the bridge got stuck so we were stuck on the island until 4a.m.! His baby cousin was also born the same day so we went to the hospital the next day to see her. we didn't get to actually celebrate until the next weekend (dinner)!

we never really celebrated because we went to dinner for his best friends birthday that night and when we got home he popped the question, it was late already so i called some people and that was that

we were in vegas and we had dinner reservations and he proposed before the dinner, so we ate afterwards!
