Do you talk about baby names with FH? What are some of your favorites? Do you guys agree?
I have so many names that I love. Some of my favorites are Felicity, Liberty (we love Americana names ), William, Matilda, and Sawyer. I literally keep a list of names I like ... it currently has about 30 names on it.
FH doesn't always agree with me when we discuss names - I like names a bit more unusual than him. Also, he has the same name as his father, so he jokes about continuing the tradition. BUT, I do NOT want to name our son (if we have one) the same name! I want something unique to him.

Although we dont plan on having children of our own, We had once said if it ever did happen we both agree on the name Avery whether it is a boy or a girl :)( FH has a daughter already that I have a very good relationship with too)
We are actually looking to adopt an Iguana..( Fh had one for years and was devasted when he died and his daughter is allgeric to most traditional pets) Anyway we are going to name the Iguanna Avery as long as his daughter approves..LOL

We often talk about having kids, how many and what kind of parents we would be. We have talked about names, but I can't remember ever coming to an agreement on a name that we both felt strongly about. I know for me, there is something about the name Ava that I have always loved. FH brings up the discussion on how to pronounce that name, which I never even thought of! It's great to bounce our ideas off of one another and I think (and hope) that we will be wonderful parents to whatever our beautiful babies names are :)

I'm also crazy about baby names! We definitely don't plan on children for a while but I do have some favorite names picked out. FH and I agree on Grace and Madeline for a girl, and Jack (John) for a boy! FH especially likes Grace because of the Ben Folds song 'Gracie'

Jack is on my list too!! My dad's name is John, and he passed away when I was in elementary school, so I think it would be a nice nod to him without being obvious.

We are both looking forward to having a child - hopefully we can have 2 (I have some med issues so we may be lucky to just have 1!!) But for a boy fh wants his name- I hate the idea. I come from a house where my dad and brother have the same name! It makes me nuts! In the end we will have to ser about a boy name. I do love the name jonah! For a girl we will go with adelayde after my grandmother (her spelling was adelaide) so we will put our own twist on it!! We plan to spend our first year just us! And then get busy baby making!!!! Haha

FH and I were actually just sitting outside by a fire last night talking about this! We both definitely want to have a baby before we're both 30 (we're only 25)so we figure another 2-3 years. There are so many names I love but these are my favorites....Ava, Julianna, Sophia, William, Joseph and Christopher

I'm hoping for a honeymoon baby as FH and I are older and been together for a long time. I have a long list of names I love but will probably not get to use any of them as if its a boy it will probably be named after FH and if it's a girl it will be named after his mother who passed away. I do love for girls names Zoe, Carleigh, Sidney, Madeline they all seem so cute. I always loved Justin for a boy name.

Hahaha we talk about this all the time! Even though we definitely want to be married a couple of years before we start, we have names all lined up!
The first of each is set; first girl is Charlotte and first boy is William. We'll call them Charlie and Will. Can you tell I'm a huge Anglophile??
After that, we have a bunch of names on the boy list. Chase, Dexter, Travis. For a girl, I'm at a loss after Charlotte!

He knows I want babies right away! We compromised: no honeymoon baby but a few months after. Lol. As for names, we talk about them. We have set names already. I value his input, even if he did break my heart by not liking a few of my choices! (Like Kellan and Justin for boys or Jordyn for a girl )
ETA: So far we agreed on Charlotte Aurora for a girl and Jack Logan for a boy.

Our girl is Charlotte too!!! We won't call her Charlie though because that's FH's fathers name.

We don't plan to try for babies until at least 2-3 years. We don't have specific names that we want to name our children. For a girl the only name I am really loving at the moment is Evelyn. For a boy I like Thomas Joseph. I have wanted to name my son that literally since I am 4 years old. It was the name of my cabbage patch!
FFIL would love us to have a michael since that is his name & fhs name but I vetoed that $hit tight away! LOL I plan on only yelling at one Michael. Seriously though I just don't like Father/Son names. I do love Andrew though. That is my fathers name & FSIL is andrea so I'd def like an andrew as a nod to the both of them.

We haven't talked about names, but for a girl, I like Ruby, Cadence, Chloe, Melora, or Abigail. For a boy, I like Cole, Liam, Noah, and Evan.

We have a daughter already, and went with a traditional name, Emily. I was between Emily and Abigail when I was pregnant, and said I'll know when I see her. And right away, I knew she was an Emily. Emily Dorothy, for my grandmother.
We want to have one more, and will def start trying right after the wedding. We've been together a long time and don't want the age difference between our kids to be too too much. I really want a boy, and we've agreed that Jack (for my dad, john, who's passed away) Miller (my maiden name, again, for my dad) will be the boys name.
