~QOTD~ 1-7-14

Thank you ladies yesterday's stories were alot of fun! Iwas surprised to see that do many ladies knew FH since they were kids. so my question today is a multiple part question......

how long have you known fh? How long haveyou been with FH? What was the turning point, when did you know you guys were being towards getting married?

I remember I meet FH while dating one of his best friends. lol oops ( we r both still friends with him though) id say that was probably 10 years ago took me a long time to catch that fish lol we started dating offically Aug 11th 2006....he didn't propose until July 6th 2013. we were together almost 7 yrs, which I. thought was a long time. the major turning point in our relationship was the adoption of our wonderful doggie Herbie. He is a 4 year old, 70lb pit that thinks he's a 5 lb tiny lap dog! lol he's like our child and idk how to describe it but I knew that we were heading to wedding bells after we shared the love for this pup.

We have known each other since we were about 12 years old or so. But it wasn't until about 3 years ago that we turned our acquaintance friendship into something more.

We've been going out for almost 7 years! We started dating about a month after we met. As soon as I met him I just knew something was different about him! :)

We've known each other for 7 1/2 years..We've been dating for 6 1/2...It took him a year of making excuses to formally meet me lol (we were introduced through a mutual friend via myspace ) so it was a year of e-mailing and an occasional phone call. I actually was dating someone in-between that year ...The turning point to get engaged was a new career for FH and myself.

We have been together for 4 years and a few months. I know it doesn't seem as long as some of you guys but we were both from different states and met through a mutual friend. Luckily the summer after we met I was returning for my sophomore year of college in the state he lives in. We were never able to have normal 'dates' in the beginning because of the distance. We would see each other for weekends at a time and I think that helped build the relationship pretty quickly because it wasn't the typical ok I'll drive you home now.

We met the first week in April 2009, we started dating by the end of May 2009 lol. I was 21 he was 23.

I knew i wanted to marry him when we went to Disney on our 1 yr anniversary!!However; we didn't get engaged until exactly 2 years later...it was our 3 year anniversary. We've been together a little over 4 1/2 years!

We were in High School together. We had a mutual friend and she had a cute picture of me on her phone. He told her to hook him up with me. At the time I was in a relationship and thought nothing of it... When we broke up I figured I'd try to get to know him better... I was 16. We became friends on 'MYSPACE' which then lead to chats on AOL instant messenger. Turns out he lived 2 blocks away and was my childhood friends neighbor! We started hanging out and have been inseparable since 2005. I knew I wanted to marry him from early in the relationship because I just couldn't and still can't picture my life without him. We have been together almost 9 years and have lived together for 3. I would have to say the turning point was moving in together. After that I knew that it was only a matter of time we would get engaged... everyone said it's about time! :)

OMG I feel like I read half my life on your story! the 2 years trying to ' catch' FH we talked on MySpace and AOL too! and EVERYONE told him it's about time too!

Wow I think I'm in the newest relationship... We met Met's opening day 2011, so our 3 year anniversary is coming up... Congrats to all of you and your relationships and to many many more years to come...
