QOTD-10-23-10

Good morning! So my QOTD is not wedding related but I was thinking yesterday while my students were watching a movie. I teach full day 5 day Pre-K so they were watching a Disney movie. No matter how many times they see these movies they watch so mesmerized by them. I also show some of these movies because some of my students have never seen them before which I cannot picture not growing up with the Disney movies. So this leads me to the QOTD:

who was your favorite disney princess or character growing up... and if you weren't into the whole Disney thing who did you emulate as a child ?

I loved Cinderella because I had blond hair and I thought I looked like her. I wanted to marry the Prince and all that went along with the fairytale. I love it! i also loved the Little Mermaid. I can remember my sister and I singing the songs in the movie over and over all day long! Have a great day!

Hmmm...I don't remember really loving any Disney character. I loved JEM because she was truly outrageous.

My fav. Disney character was always Belle. For some reason i just loved the story and she kinda reminded me of myself... LOl... she fell in love with someone nooone would have expected her to, and she looked beyond the looks and fell in love with someone for their heart...

I even tried on the dress inspired by belle for the wedding And named my dog after her... LOL

i loved belle and ariel, those still are my favorite movies!!

I wanted to be She-ra when I grew up

and i totalllllly had the JEM lunch box and doll (barbie was too overrated for me!)

I loved Jem! I was Jem for Halloween in Kindergarten!

We didn't watch a ton of Disney....but I remember wanting to be Dorothy in the wizard of Oz.

i thought i was a boy for a while, and me and my sister were totally into GI Joe and our army men in a bucket!! If I had to pick a princess I think it would be pocahontas, she was free spirited and cool and didnt take any shite from the english

As far as princesses go...Ariel & Belle were always my absolute favorite. But, The Lion King has always been my favorite Disney movie and Nala was always my favorite character. My first kitten was named Nala and the only birthday party I remember having as a kid was a Lion King party...so I'm staying faithful!!

Sleeping beauty has always been my fav!

But...i always told maleficent was the shiznay! She turned into a dragon! Lol

i watched disney movies as a kid mainly because i was with my dad alot as a child since ym mom worked and went to school...so i actually loved Batman and Robin the old one with adam west as batman...i watched it constantly! in fact a couple years ago my mom bought it as a joke for christmas for me

Growing up I was not a Disney child. I was a GI Joe, Godzilla tom boy. Only when I had my own child we started watching and going to WDW.
I love Toy Story, Lion King, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, om gosh, I can name all of them!

My favorite disney MOVIE is the little mermaid, however my favorite disney PRINCESS is Aurora from sleeping beauty

I loved cinderella, I just thought she was so pretty! There was really nothing I could relate to I just thought the dresses were pretty and all that, and I'm not really the biggest girly girl, so come to think of it I dont know why I love her so much, she was just always my fav, probably the first disney movie I saw! lol

Ariel was my favorite princess. I found her wanting independence from her dad to be parallel to my life.

When I first came to America, I spoke to English - so I ended up learning how to begin speaking the language through Disney movies - they'll always play a special place in my heart

My favorite is probably Bell from Beuaty & the Beast.

my favorite Disney movie of all time is Sleeping Beauty!!!!!!!!!1 and i always wanted to be Aurora. as far back as i can remember it instilled in me my love of history - and all things medieval and hence why i became a history major of that time period.

I also loved LOVED Jem - she rocked my world!

Great question! i've been totally into Disney again recently because i just got the new Beauty and the Beast movie and i LOVED the deleted scenes

Alice In Wonderland. I was a blonde/blue eyed child and I was always curious about things and getting into places I wasn't suppose to be in, so the movie and I just kind of went together.
