*~* QOTD*~* 10.03.11

Ok... First I would like to thank Mishell for picking me. Thankfully I decided to check the boards this morning and found out I was picked!!! :)

So here's my first question and for the week.

If there was ONE person that you could uninvite to your wedding who would that be and why??

If I could un-invite one person it would have to be FH's step mom. She has never ever been nice to him and I've witnessed it. She is always making comments about how her kids are better than FH and blah blah blah. And to top it off his whole life (since the age of 9) she used to tell him and others that he would never mount to anything. I've wanted to say something in his defense but I don't cause he wants to keep the peace. BUT the day he tells me otherwise I will put her in her place.

My Mom's sister. She is dramatic and likes to complain about something, everywhere she goes. From the day I got engaged, she said 'that date doesnt work for me' when my Mother told her we were getting married 7/1. UM HELLO? Since when do I care to get my date approved by an Aunt I see 2x per year????

ehhhh.... there is one couple i wish we didnt have to invite, but we have to according to FH

one of FH friends, who he bearly see's anymore and doesnt even talk to. and i've had issues with his wife in the past. but he said he's not gonna be the one to totally kill the friendship and there is still too many ways we will bump into them through other people that he doesnt wanna look like tha bad guy. i do understand, however i have my fingers crossed that they don;t come, but i have a feeling they will decline so yey!! lol

If I could I would uninvite my grandfather's brother and his kids (they are adults). It is not that I don't like them or they have done anything to me it is just that I really do not know them and would rather save the money.

I wish I could un-invite some of FH's friends because I feel they will be no shows and just a waste of a spot.

Because we are having such a small wedding, i do not have worry about that. I told my mother and FMIL that we only wanted people we know there (not cousin of a cousin that i havent seen in 10 years!) and people who we care about. I do not have any issues with immediate family (except for FMIL who cannot go.. hence the destination wedding.. i hate being honest )

I can't decide on 1 person in particular BUT I would like to uninvite all the people I don't know that I have never met. FH & I have been together 3 1/2 yrs. I've been around long enough. They can't be that important that we need to spend the $$ on them to be there if I never met them!!!!

I don't believe in the saying 'if they invited us to theirs then we need to invite them to ours' yea but you were friendly with them 15 yrs ago when they got married & aren't anymore!

I'm hoping these people turn into NOs!

I would love to uninvite any of my parents' friends who my mother insists I invite. I haven't seen any of them in years so it really does not make a difference to me if they are there or not.

FH's best friend is married to a TERRIBLE shrew of a woman. She is loud, mean and drinks too much. I would have not invited her, but you can't tell someone they can't bring their wife.

I would uninvite her in a heartbeat.

Only one?? I don't think I could do that. I'd say my Dads random friends (that's like 8 people or something like that...)

Where do I start, my FH aunt is such a B, she so mean and thinks she knows it all!! My FH family has really been mean to for NO reason so I would write off most of them

I want to uninvite FMIL's neighbors and coworkers. I have no idea why FMIL has demanded they get to have their coworkers and neighbors when FH and I can't have our coworkers. If I have it my way by Saturday they will be off the list.

Ugh! ITA with this! Why does everyone feel like they need to invite everyone they know to their child's wedding?!?!
