How involved are your FH's in the wedding planning process? Is there something they are specific about having/doing? Are you butting heads about anything?
My FH wanted the big traditional wedding reception and I wanted to elope but eventually he convinced me we would regret it if we didn't. (Which he's right. I'm glad we are!) Since then, I've gotten more into the planning role. During the venue searching, he didn't like the floors in the main ballroom that didn't have a 'defined dance floor.' By that I mean like an obvious dance floor, not just everything on a wood floor. LOL, he's too much. But I get what he meant. For the bride & groom entrance, he didn't want to come out of the floor but through the doors. He had a very specific entrance that he wanted to do that I was game for. The only other thing he is picky about is, he doesn't want is the poster seating chart, but the place cards. These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. We still have a little over a year to go so there's more planning to be done!
I ask in hopes that my FH is not the only one with quirks, lol. Other than that, he is very involved, calling the vendors, driving us around on wedding errands, etc.

FH is pretty involved in all the planning so far. He loves going to all the bridal expos with me and I love that. We took the summer off from planning because we bought a house (I think that cause more bickering and fighting than the wedding will).
We still have a lot to plan so I'm sure during that process we will butt heads a few times!

Mine is involved, but he pretty much let's me do what I want. I think he's there just to be supportive, but he honestly doent care about flowers or the colors of the wedding. I don't know if there's anything he's really stressing about for the wedding. He just wants scallops wrapped in bacon for an appetizer.

FH is pretty involved I don't make any decisions without discussing with him. We picked all the vendors out together and we are both paying for the wedding. He hasn't wanted anything specific though he keeps trying to get me to agree to walking out to a wrestler theme and I hate wrestling and was like no our entrance will represent us both as a couple not just one of our likes. So that is the only place we have buttheads but he more does it as a joke since he knows I hate wrestling.

FH was involved with venue and dj.. Now I just run things by him and he usuallyu says whatever you want.. It can be annoying I dont want him to later say I would have preferred this over that..

Mine has been by my side through the whole process. We both know this is not MY wedding, but OUR wedding! There are certain things he didn't know about, a few things he didn't care about, but the same thing goes for me! I am SO happy that this is how it has been bc I wouldn't want to plan the whole thing myself!

FH has been involved with every step, some more actively than others. We looked and Venus together and picked the photographer and DJ together. With the DJ he took a more active role, and ultimately I allowed him to make the decision since music is his 'thing'. Then with florists I shopped around with my FMIL and Mom and then only brought him to meet the one I liked best since he didn't care much about the floral choices lol. He's been good with making calls and pricing around if I get frustrated, but he doesn't have a strong opinion about much so he lets me lead.

My FH is really involved. We've done almost everything together except the photographer (he knew I wasn't going to change my mind, even if he didn't like them ) and the DJ because I just went and booked them one day after work. They were the house DJ.
Even in terms of my dress he knew I was going back with my MOH and Aunt to show them and he called me that afternoon to make sure I didn't let anyone change my mind because he knew how much I had loved it after I first went. When it comes to the little details I just show him what I'm thinking and he says yes or no, but we've pretty much been on the same page with everything. The only thing he REALLY wanted was the Phantom so I let that slide

FH has been involved every step of the way in planning! He doesn't have an opinion about everything necessarily, but I want his feedback before I do anything. After all, this is just as much his wedding as mine!

FH is involved with everything. I would research vendors online and narrow down to the one I really liked, and he would come with me to the appointment. The things that he specifically wants, no 'ifs and or buts' are: 1) No engagement pictures 2) Bentley as the lead car 3) Raw seafood station at cocktail hour and 4) Him picking out his tux.
I love that he is involved because it makes decisions easier since he has an opinion. Luckily we have the same taste in everything so it makes the process smooth to begin with.

FH is involved, but is pretty much deferring to me. I am doing all of the research, setting up the appointments, etc. He has come with me to every appointment. The only thing he expressed that he does NOT want to be involved in is the flowers.
We have occasionally butted heads ... I act quick, I like to keep it moving. FH is more of a 'we'll do this at the end of the week' and i'm like WHY WHEN WE CAN DO IT NOW!!!!

FH is not very involved. He does the important part and humors me when I want to watch other peoples wedding videos, and hes very good at answering 'what do you think?' with 'hmm what do YOU think?' haha.
He came when we picked our hall and he went to one wedding showcase. He is very excited about the tasting but that wont be until shortly before the wedding. I run everything by him, but its mainly be doing the planning.

My FH was a big help with the music. He really wanted a say in the DJ, cocktail hour music, and ceremony music so he was helpful in making that decision.
Aside from that and the tuxes, he really doesn't have a preference about the rest which makes my job easy :)

Haha we're the same exact way. Once we see a vendor, she's in -we have to book NOWW today- mode while I'm just go with the flow, they'll still be there in a week mode.
As a FH myself, I'm glad to see a lot of other couples having similar experiences. I do a lot of the research and finding vendors. We go together, discuss the pros/cons and make a decision. The venue, photographer and DJ were the 3 things most important to us both, so we've spent a lot of time figuring those out. The rest is pretty much going to be on her. I could care less about flowers or what color this or that is going to be....

FH is not really involved at all. He answers most questions with, 'whatever you like,' which can be a little frustrating. He came to the tasting and a showcase at the venue to look at upgrades. I'm hoping to get him involved in the music selection and the invitation design. Those are my lofty goals lol.
