What is the best idea(s)/advice/ect. You have received from other LIW girls?

OMG they have helped so much...from where to get dresses, which florist to avoid, themes, music, ideas i would have never thought of.
Which are using at your wedding? I decided to get a maggie sottero dress with the help of girls on here, I decided to do fan programs from an idea from someone who also had a summer wedding. I am going to take my pics at a park that was recommended on here....etc.
I know we have a DIY thread but what DIY projects are you planning on doing/done? I am horrible in DIY so I am going to leave that to the pros...lol

Before this site I had never heard of the following: Bpics---> I had to Google that one when i first saw it I thought it was a made up thing. Slipper Baskets Channa Plaque or anything like it and many DIY projects and free Vista print (a couple girls b-dazzled their cake toppers which came out great! I would have never thought to do that) Let alone the invaluable research that lead me to all my vendors
Not to be sappy but you girls have given/came up with so many unique ideas everyday I find myself thinking wow great idea!
Since learning about these things I wanted to do everyone of them!! sadly they are not all in my budget I am going to say the best idea that I am using is the DIY paper stuff. I really feel like I contributed and made my wedding a touch more personal doing something I never thought to, for cheaper than I expected!I have done STDs and BM cards (also got that idea from this site) I also would like to DIY menus and seating cards, programs and maybe a MAD lib Guest book.

No real advice except just to do whatever we want and not worry too much about others, and to enjoy every moment.
I diy our STD's, I was planning on diy the invites, but that's not happening. I will be doing our photo montage. I'm sure I'll be diy a lot of little things for the day of like some decorative things. Oh and our seating chart.

I discovered its a lot easier to go the non DIY route sometimes. BC I have no time anymore plus its just easier if I pay the extra little bit to save me that time. I'm not lazy!!!!!!

What is the best idea(s)/advice/etc. You have received from other LIW girls? hmmmm.... well considering that she is a LIW bride (although I did not know that at the time of her telling me) I have to thank Dana (2010) for introducing me to the Riviera. If it weren't for her I never would have know about the place and it was exactly what we were looking for (both looks wise and price wise). We met through mutual friends at a bar and started talking about our weddings. Once I described the look we were going for she immeditately recommended the Riviera. So thank you Dana!
