Good morning ladies!! I'm up so late tonight because I was busy studying and figured I would post the QOTD now because tomorrow is probably going to be a busy day!
We're going to stay on the topic of FH for today.
What is the item(s) that FH has given you that you cherish the most (besides your E-ring)?
For me, the items that I cherish most are all of the cards that FH has written to me for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I love reading through all of them periodically. They always put a smile on my face and a lot of times bring tears to my eyes because of the sweet things FH has written to me throughout the years.

I am going to have to say that things that I cherish most that my FH has given me - are not really things at all. As corney as that sounds.
The first more important thing would be his friendship. Because without him and the way that he makes me laugh, I dont know what I would do.
And the second thing would be the roof over my head. I know that sounds crazy... but ever since we moved in together (4 years ago), I never had that sense of stability and safety. And I love it. Even though we pay rent together, the security of knowing that we will be fine as long as we are together - is something money really cant buy!

FI had bought me a ring on the first cruise we went on and I had worn it on my ring finger up until the night he proposed and replaced it. I still love that ring so much but I have to get it resized to fit my right ring finger. I definitely want to wear it at the wedding.

Me too! FH bought me a ring for our first Valentine's Day... and it mysteriously fit my left hand, even though he had no idea then what size I was and I never took it off until we got engaged. And I'm lucky because it ALSO fits my right hand, so I cans till wear it... and am wearing it right now.
FH has given me so many (tangible) gifts, but I have to say this one means the most to me.
I could go on and on forever about the intangible things he's given me and I would give up my ring, or anything else for htat matter, in a heartbeat in exchange for those things.

OMG there are soooo many things....I'd have to say the earrings that he gave me on our 6 month anniversary. Even after 10 years, I still wear them all the time (I actually have them on right now). For our 6 month anniversary, I told him that he didn't have to buy me anything, but I'd like him to get me flowers. Well, he showed up at my house empty-handed and I thought to myself, 'ok....where are my flowers?!?!?'. So, we were sitting on my bed and he's like 'omg I completely forgot to get you flowers! I'm so sorry. Can you check my jacket to see if my wallet's in there so I can go and buy you some?' I don't know why I fell for it bc we were only 15 and he couldn't drive anywhere. I don't know where he was planning on going. When I checked his pocket, the earrings were in there. FH is not really the 'romantic' type, and this is prob one of the cutest things he's done! I also have a promise ring that he gave me our freshman year of college that's really special. End of senior year of hs/beginning of college was a rough time for us. We broke up and then finally got back together just before the holidays. This ring symbolized that we were going to be together forever! His mom was so happy when he gave it to me too. It kinda felt like a mini-engagement, it was so exciting! Then there are the cards and all the intangible things...I can go on and on but I think this is long enough! Sorry that it was so long!

FH bought me a puppy the 1st valentines day we were together. It's our baby.
Also my promise ring that I turned into a pinky ring for my right hand.

I'd have to agree with you, Alicia...it's been all the cards and written things that i cherish the most. FH isn't one to express his feelings much and so when he does whether it's in the form of an aniversary card or bday card..it literally makes me cry. I just love the little things he does too...like cooking dinner for me all the time, suprising me with flowers or a bottle of my fav wine (i know its cliche but still sweet) . I guess one of the things i loved the most was for our 1st Valentines' Day FH had played for me a slideshow of all our pictures together in the last few months and wrote a msg with each one...i was in tears...the best part is I had just given him a scrapbook of pictures of us that i had made from scratch just before he showed me the slideshow! guess we think alike!

Also, he bought me my first coach bag! I looovveee it and recently bought myself one! (This is a very dangerous habit to start)!

On our first Christmas together FH gave me a heart shaped diamond ring that i wore on my ring finger till i go my e-ring and my Yorkie puppy whom i love more than anything in this world

His airforce dog tag :). ---> I have a trademark pink dogtag that i always wear. For xmas one year my bff and I got matching dog tags with our names birthdays and the playboy bunny engraved in it along with our nicknames. And FH saw my dog tag and showed me his from the airforce and handed me one and was like so yours wont be alone anymore. :)

a double heart necklace he gave me for my birthday the year we met. we were only together 4 months and he was so nervous to give it to me. he said a speech with it saying that we will always be a pair and i will never be alone. it was so sweet and im tearing up thinking of it now. i wear it pretty much everyday.

I would have to say the very first thing he gave me was a Mets bear and i LOVE it.... It was the first thing he gave me!!!!

The first special gift that was given to me was on our first Christmas together. My FH gave me a maltese cross. It was special because it had his FDNY badge number engraved on it.I never took it off of my neck. The second special gift he gave me was the journey necklace for our second christmas together :)

The thing FH gave me that I cherise the most besides my E-Ring is my Hugs & Kisses braclet for our 1 year anniversary..he must of liked it too because he actually brought me another one a few years later

the necklace I wear everyday that he got me on my birthday around our 6 month mark. and I kept all his cards that he gave me and pressed some of the roses as well as one I keep dried on my desk.

I think the best gift that...wait could it be a mutual gift...because on January 10, 2007 I gave birth to our little girl.....To this day we both agree that she's the best gift that I could give to him and he could give to me

I can't chose.
Everything he has given me, down to a post it note when we first met has meaning to me. He laughs when he sees the 'Box of Joe'. Which is just all of the little things I've collected the past 5 years. Every movie stub, tickets from our cruise, endless cards, letters, post its, drawings.
From big to small, everything he has given me - including his good morning kiss today has meaning :)
