QOTD 10/26

Thank you ladies I have enjoyed my week as botw. Thank you! This will be my last ? Then I will pass the veil.

Are you parents or fh's helping out with the wedding? How much are they giving or what are they paying for?

I think my parents are giving up about $10k and buying my dress. and Fh's parents are giving us $5k if were lucky

My mom and stepdad are giving us $5K, that's what they gave my brother and there are 2 more after me that they are going to have to give $ to. My mom is also paying for hair/makeup/shoes/dress/alterations/veil. She will also pay for my MOH's hair/makeup. She will also pay for the RD if FH's parents don't change their minds.

FH's parents aren't giving us anything.

my parents are wonderful enough to pay for the reception.

FH's parents said they are giving us money but the amount is still a mystery. sooo FH and i have budgeted as if they arent giving us anything (which we know they will definitely give us something) so whatever they give us will be house down payment money.

FH's parents are giving us 10K, my mom is giving us money too cept i don't know how much exactly haha, and we're gonna come up with the rest

we are paying for it ourselves. We are both completely ok with that.

We know our parents will be very generous with there gift at the reception and that our mothers will be very good to me at my shower.

FH dad is giving us 10K towards a down payment for our co-op/condo

My parents are also giving us their timeshare for our HM and possibly paying for our tickets.

my parents are giving us enough money to come up maybe 1K short of the RH cost. FH's parents are paying for the RD

My parent's are paying for everything pretty much including the RD. We're lucky for that. We are in charge of the honeymoon, the rings, and the gifts for our bridal party. Fh's parents probably aren't paying for anything because they can't. They are in a really poor financial situation right now.

Most of the fiancial burden of the wedding is on FH and I. My mom is paying for my dress. My grandmother actually gave us our wedding gift in advance (deposit for photo & video <3<3). My uncle has no kids and I am his favorite neice so he's paying the majority of the honeymoon.

My father hasn't offered any money yet, but I will try to swindle a little something from him, not sure how that will go over though...lol. FH's mother isn't helping us with anything- well, she's offered to help my mom with the shower and make the broom for FH and I to jump over, so that counts for something.

My parents are paying for EVERYTHING and FH's parents are paying for the HM so luckily we don't have to worry about anything!

my mom paid the initial down payment on our RH but the rest is pretty much up to us. I am not sure if my mother is paying for my dress, but she will be paying for our e party and my shower.

most of everything for the wedding fh and i r paying for. my dad is paying for the church, cuz he wnated to walk me down a aile, and he is giving me half the money for my dress along with my mom. my mom is also paying for my flowers and the invatations.his parents r paying for the photos and the video. fh has also gave us some money towards the hall.

my parents r paying for the RH. FMIL is paying for all the flowers & RD. my mom is paying for my dress & shower.

No help from anyone...FH and I are paying for everything ourselves. Its a struggle to find the money to start paying things off and booking things, but we are making it work.

My mom gave us 10k and we are footing the rest. His parents said they are going to give us i'll believe it when i see it lol.

My parents will cover most of the RH...depending on number of people. They are also paying for my dress, veil, alterations etc...and invitations. FH's parents are giving anything.

FH and I will be paying for the wedding ourselves. We have been working overtime and saving verything we make. I am very proud of how dedicated FH is.... we are freaking out because it will cost us 40k. But if we can do this.... then we can do anything!
