Good Morning Ladies.
i just started reading a novel which has inspired me to ask this question:

If you could go back and live in any time in history when would you chose and why??

I would have to chose the 1920s. It was a time where everyone was happy, the economy was great, fashion was fabulous, the country was growing with new immigrants everyday, and life was just carefree.

i would love to live in new york city in the 40s/50s when italian mobsters ran the neighborhood! (hahaha i m nuts i know)

I just think that people looked so sofisticated and really truly enjoyed life, it wasnt always about electronics and the new fad ideas.plus they were classy and took care of their business

i love the 40s too, with their fashions and the promise of a good life after the war ended.

I am a 60's hippie born 20 years too late! I would be hanging out in Haight/Ashbury and Woodstock.

I am currently obsessed with reading about the court of Henry VIII, so I would love to go back to that time period and experience it all!

Hmmm. 1950s?? Love the big skirts and dresses! I know women were expected to serve a man, but hey, I really wouldn't mind not having to go to work and being able to stay home with kids. These days it's nearly impossible to raise a family on one income. I wish we had the option.

I would choose the first few decades of the 1900's....the fashion was great, women were respected and treated like queens, there was less crime and drugs in the world, children were respectful, life was less hectic, people worried about less.
