Good Morning Ladies, and Happy Hump day... Here is today's question

Where and How did you get the inspiration for your theme and or color scheme for the big day? And what are they?

We are using Tiffany Blue, Ivory, and silver. With Pale pink and yellow flowers. I chose these because getting married the first weekend of summer, at a location on the water, the light tiffany blue just flows beautifully with our RH and most of all i LOVE the way the colors look together!

Im not doing a theme, i feel the colors give enough of a theme to the wedding....

Our color scheme is greens and yellows, incorporating lots of sunflowers.

Originally sunflowers weren't a part of it but then I had found an invitation that FH and I like that had this unique sunflower on it and I was able to swipe the image from the website and use it on EVERYTHING I DIYed for the wedding. I then contacted our florist and asked if we could reworked everything to incorporate sunflowers and it worked out perfectly. I'm so excited to see how everything pulls together. I love the way all the DIY stuff came out and I'm now just overly excited about the sunflowers LOL

my colors are inspired by nature! we love the outdoors so we chose chocolate brown, green and ivory. We are going for a very rustic natural feel with branchy CPs and our monogram has a tree on it! Our RH goes perfectly with it too!

Happy Wednesday all

We don't have a specific theme except we're using photography accents in a few places (photo frame for place card display, photos that I took as the table names/numbers, disposable cameras at each table)

We thought of our colors together by process of elimination...I didn't want to have the guys in girly colors and I wanted something classic...

I picked green and pink from the start because I saw the color combo in a magazine and loved it. Then I found these gorgeous color bridesmaid dresses and fell in love --the color is 'jade' by alfred angelo.

I think that the jade color really makes the colors more appropriate for a summer wedding since the light green and light pink is more for spring.

So now we have jade, pink, and green.

I'm also going for a slightly vintage feel. I.e. candelabra type bases for the flowers, calligraphy, etc. Nothing too major.

Honestly, we found a bridesmaid dress we liked and it looked best in the Eggplant color, so that's how we ended up with that LOL. Plus I realized eggplant is a nice color for fall and it's flattering on all the girls. We don't really have another theme.

I've always loved the fall. I remember being little and going back to elementary school and leaves blowing everywhere and we had little cutouts of fall items in the windows. I dont even remember a time where I didn't love it.

so it was a given that I'd have a fall themed wedding...oranges, reds and purples.

I originally wanted tiffany blue and yellow or royal blue and yellow. The problem was that the dresses I liked for the girls didn't come in those colors. When I started looking at pictures of flowers and such I kept being drawn to pink. My favorite color is pink but I didn't want the wedding to be to girly. But, after a while I just gave in so pink and ivory it is! My FH is just glad I finally picked and stopped changing my mind.

our colors are royal, cobalt, midnight, and pale blue with the guys wearing tan linen suits and dads wearing chocolate brown suits. FH is not a fan of tuxedos and we are looking for RHs on the water. I love blue and think that all pictures with blue really pop. we wanted casual elegance and not too over the top with everything

My colors and purple and silver. I have loved the color purple all my life. My room has always been purple. Even when I re-paint my room its just a different shade of purple. So I knew for my wedding I wanted purple. I didn't know I wanted to include silver until I saw the bridesmaid dresses and they have a silver brooch on the side and I decided to incorporate it into my color scheme

Our colors are red, white and black. I've always found black and white classicly beautiful but its always done. So I wanted a splash of color and I had originally wanted pink but fh had said no he refused to wear that color. Then we settled on red, yet another classy touch added. I love it.

We don't have a theme either, but our wedding colors are eggplant, ivory and cranberry. (I think-haha) FH wanted a deep cranberry since w started talking about getting married, but I had a change of plans and went for the eggplant because I saw a dress in eggplant and fell in love haha. But were compromising so I plan to include some cranberry in there somewhere! :)

There's no specific theme - but to sum it up we just want it to be simple elegence. Our colors are cream white, light green, and purple as an accent. FH and I chose the colors - we wanted something that fits both of us, and wasn't one sided (feminine vs. masculine). We played around with using yellow, blue, or green. When we saw pictures of what green with white looks like and little splashes of purple we fell in love. I also started by looking at bouquets, that was my main inspiration. Since our RH has a creamy white walls, it also works perfectly.

Did I also mention that I LOVE purple :D

I changed my mind about 10 times before I chose eggplant as my BM dress color with white and blush pink for the flowers. Even when I was in my other color phases, I absolutely loved the look of a Davids Bridal advertisement with the dark purple dresses and white boks. Even though its a summer wedding, and eggplant isn't really a summer color, I don't care I love it too much!

I love the richness of fall colors, and I knew I wanted to get married on Columbus Day Weekend- so it made sense! The major color is a deep purple, and accented with the warm fall colors in the flowers
