***QOTD 10/28/10***

Good Morning Ladies,
Sorry its a little late this morning... i was up almost all night.. just couldnt sleep

So We are getting close. October is pretty much over and before we know it Thanksgiving and the Holiday season will be here and then us 2011ers will start walking down the aisle some of us have most or all of our planning done some of us are just starting out.... so here is todays question:


What has been the hardest part of your planning process so far? And is there any advise you can share for the ladies that are just starting to plan?

So far the hardest part for me was deciding my color scheme. For about 3 months i was going back and forth with what colors i wanted to use. My FH was starting to get really annoyed with me because i just kept changing my mind.... i kept second guessing my decision, until i pretty much got set on invitations and my Channa Plaque and then there was no turning back ;)

The best advise i can give to new brides right now is Dont second Guess yourself. Not only will you drive yourself crazy but it will make the planning process so much more difficult. Always go with your gut. It really will never let you down

haha ummmm...for me it's been dealing with BM and family drama!!!!

(Hopefully, the worst is already behind me....I have a year to my wedding! Haha)

Keeping it under budget! I was originally planning on spending 20 000$ on my wedding... As of right now, I'm spending that much only on the location!
My advice... If you don't want to spend too much... Don't look at venues you can't afford!

ITA!!!!!!! i've beenworking like crazy to make money and i still feel like i have so much more money to save before the big day!

i don't think there was one most 'hard' part that i have had to deal with so far. nothing has been overly stressful and we really did make most of our decisions together and chose our vendors together.
i had really wanted to get married a different church than the one were are getting married in, but i';m over it now and so excited.
my aadvise to all new brides, don't sweat the small stuff and PLEASE! choose your battles! take a step back and ask yourself in the grand scheme of things if this is really worth it.

The hardest part was the color scheme and making decisions on invite, my dress, my bm dresses, etc.

Advise- go with what you love and don't let anyone talk you out of it!

Coming to an agreement with FH about the photographer! In the end, he let me have the photographer I wanted even though he hated the price!!

We had the hardest time deciding how big we wanted the wedding! Which drove the RH, Bridal Part, Limos, etc.

Once we decided on a general list, and chose RH, it was smooth sailing.

I agree- don't second guess yourself. Make a decision and stick to it. My rule is also not to commit to a decision for 24 hours...no on the spot contract signing for me, and I think that has really helped with the stress and the lack of second guessing!

that hardest part in my opinion, is going to be the flowers and centerpieces....
For some reason, not sure why, i am petrified of this part!
ahhhhh thinking about it makes me bite my cuticles...
