Wedding bands! They're my latest obsession in this wedding planning. I don't want to let it sit in a drawer for just over a year so it's taking a lot of willpower not to look. I think I'm more excited about wearing one than I am over the fact that I have an engagement ring on, lol.
What will your wedding band look like? Describe or post a link to it or post a picture if you can. If you have yours already, how far in advance did you get it? When do you plan to?

Since i have a plain round solitaire e-ring, i'm going blingy with my wedding band! lol I'll probably get an eternity shared-prong band. Can't wait to start looking!

I have no idea, but I really need to get on that! FH and I are going to try to head over to the Diamond Distric in the next couple of weeks to take care of that.

i want a blingy band, but not the matching band to my engagement ring. i don't like when things match. :) also, I plan on getting a plain band, as well. I want to wear three rings - FH says i'm spoiled. :)
FH wants one of those rings with the brushed look ... most likely white gold.
we probably won't start looking until march or april ... i don't want it sitting in a drawer for too long, either!

I don't have mine yet but want a blingy band not diamonds all the way around but at least half and white gold to match my engagement ring.

FH and I were just talking about this last night. I want bingy but I don't want diamonds all around the band. I'm very clumsy and I feel if there are diamonds all around the band I might lose one from hitting my hand or something. We will probably look about 3-4 months before the wedding. I also don't want it sitting around too long- I will want to wear it!

Is yours a surprise and that's why you can't look?
My engagement ring is the tacori 2565 ribbon twist so I'm planning on getting the custom band. It basically just follows the curves and matches the pave in my engagement ring. I tried on different ones but I wasn't a fan of the gaps in the straight bands.

I definitely want some extra bling with my wedding band... Was actually thinking, if the price is right, I might want two! That way my engagement ring can sit in the middle of 2 beautiful rings :)

Re: QOTD | 10.3.13
We've been saving up for the wedding for a while, so whenever we can get something checked off the list and paid for we jump on it! So FH and I got our rings with almost a year left still to go. I don't mind that it was super in advanced, because I tend to do everything early anyway lol
I kept going back and forth with what kind of band I wanted, and I really didn't want to go over budget or have it look too gaudy since my E-ring is very Blingy, In the end the one I fell in love with was half of our budget and it perfectly matches my E-ring so win win! lol
Its not eternity, the stones stop at the same point as the one's in my E-ring do..I'm a fan of symmetry so this makes me very happy lol. I sneak it on sometimes even though FH yells at me lol I can't help it I just love it sooo much!
Oh yeah He got one too..lol

We bought ours as part of our Valentine's Day gifts this year. I cried more when I saw my band than I did with my engagement ring!

This has been a discussion in my house recently. I actually don't know what I want mine to look like! The band of my engagement ring is kind of unique looking, so it has been difficult to find something that matches. My mom recently found an eternity band my grandma had given her, so we think we are going to repurpose it for my wedding band. I like the sentimentality, but when we went to the jeweler, they said it would cost well over $500 to fit old stones into a new band...so long story short, I am still not sure.
FH wedding band is a different story. Almost a year ago, a bride on LIW posted that the website tanga.com had tungsten bands on sale for $14.99. I checked it out and they looked nice, and were indeed $14.99. We ordered one, figuring the worst thing that would happen is that we wasted 15 bucks. When it came, I couldn't believe it was a really nice, legit tungsten band.

we purchased ours just recently! :)
I absolutely love my wedding band!!! I have one diamond band and then a simple platinum band as a spacer since my ring is a pear shape! :)
