FH is totally open-- a little too open at times. I sometimes wish we could go back to the time where he didn't feel so comfortable about it hahaha.
As for me, not so much. I have no problem with letting him know things like having to go to the bathroom, getting a lovely visitor, or burping like it's my job- but I do not openly 'toot.' I would like for him to think that I'm immortal, but FH has told me that I have in my sleep hahahaha
well, I think we were shy with each other at first but we've together forever. He'll actually walk into the bathroom while I;m in there to have an entire lengthy convo w me while I;m like um..can you leave? lol. He thinks it's bc I wanna read a book but really its bc HELLO...bathroom!
FH has UC and actually had his entire colon taken out a few years ago...so as far as being open to talking about things, we've had no choice but to be...

You took the words right out of my mouth!!! FH and I are def not afraid of letting them go infront of each other. In fact, he let one go last night while watching Football and we cracked up.....
just wanted to add that my friend is getting married next week and they've been together 8 years and STILL don't fart in front of eachother and he only let one slip in his sleep once.
We've lived together for 5 years, there is definitely no shame in our game anymore! However, he still finds it WAY more amusing than I do to exploit his bodily functions
ETA: My sister and her husband have never, and still do not, fart in front of each other, and my sister refuses to talk about #2 in front of him They've been married for almost 2 years!

Ok, as far as farting and burping go, I have no problem. But I do need to close the bathroom door when I need to poo. Although, my cat seems to think it's okay to come in with me. I am lactose intolerant, so when I eat icecream at home, there is no option but to let them rip!

My FH will do jusst about anything in front of me. who am i kidding? he WILL do anything on front of me. he has no shame. i still won't but he knows when its that time of the month for me. i'll burp in front of him and he'll go to the bathroom after i just went and it doesn't smell like roses - but oh well. deal
This is too funny After living together for so long FH & I are pretty open. He has absolutely no shame and leaves the door wide open while I at least close it back. I want him to continue thinking my #2 smells like roses and sunshine
FH and I are definatly an open book... it took me about 4 years to be able to do anything in front of him but now i could care less.. its a normal bodily function and if i have to I have to.... same with him...
as for the bathroom #1 i got no problem with the door open.. anything else the door has got to be closed and he needs to be FAR away...
well, after living together for 2 years, there's very little that's been left to the imagination at this point. When we pee, the door is usually left ajar - not fully open...but you can hear everything. He lets them rip like crazy, I try to muffle them the best I can. However I have 2 great stories: 1) when we were first dating, one of the first times we .... was at his place, I got up went to pee and while I was on the toilet, one sneaked out - it was so loud, and I was mortified... I went back to bed and immediately he let one loose, it was great! 2) about a year ago we were driving up to Lake George and the car was stopping at the red light, and I let one go, well, it was RANK, totally silent too, he was so grossed out, it was hillarious!
