I think we should all be grateful to FH that our dating days are over, so lets go back in time to when life was wild!!!! What was life like before FH? What were you like? Where would we be likely to find you on the weekend? What was your worst date ever? How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?

I was a party animal player before FH.
You would def find me in NYC wearing something short and skimpy bar hopping!!!
I have 2 but one was when my date turned to be and asked me to hold his drug so if we got pulled over he wouldn't get arrest, then when we finally were done eating dinner he wispered in my ear 'do you got this?' unfortunately it doesn't end there cause on the way to drop him off at his car he farted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew FH wasn't another a$$hole cause he asked me real questions like what do you and your family do on the holiday, not what is your favorite position!!!!! So there you have it girls, lets be grateful for the man we have in our lives and grateful we aren't on the dating scene anymore!!!!!!!

What were you like before FH?
Ohhh boy. I was a party girl! I was out everynight and slept all day. I had all guy friends and we used to just party all the time. I was underage using fake ID's to get into places. It was bad! I actually thank God for FH, because I honestly don't know where I would be now if I didn't calm down.

What was FH like before you?
I am FH's first serious girlfriend. And to be honest we weren't thinking long term at all when we got together. He had one group of guy friends and they worked on their cars. He wasn't out in bars or clubs. He was unsociable and quiet! lol

What was your worst date ever?
Thank goodness I can say I never had a worst date ever!

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?
I just knew. There was something about him that I knew he wasn't like the rest. And I really fell in love with him quickly. It just turned into such a serious relationship after a little bit of time together. But I wouldn't of had it any other way! Hes my best friend!

What was life like before FH?
Pretty much the same. I have never been a party animal.

What were you like?
Socially I was the same. Financially, I bit dumber. lol. For him, I would say he was very shy. He still is very shy, but not as much as before.

Where would we be likely to find you on the weekend?
Probably at a concert, friends house, bowling or at a lounge with friends having drinks.

What was your worst date ever?
Tie between two. Some guy who was facinatined by the fact he could do a rubix cube, or another guy who took me to dinner, but was trying to be funny and yelling at me at loud so everyone could here. Mind you, I am a bit shy.

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?

He was just so sweet and polite and such a gentlemen, which i had never been with before.

Before FH, I was pretty much the same person I am now, just did a lot more other stuff that I don't have time to do anymore. not because of FH but because 'grown up life' took over (working 7 days a week blows!).

Normally, you could find me going to see bands play at various places in the city, following around my friend's band (which my ex BF now plays in), or just chilling out with my friends at the practice room, 7-11 parking lot (yeah don't be jealous!), or anyone's house that was up for grabs that night.

I can't really say I had a worst date ever because FH actually took me on my real official first date - like he picked me up, took me to a restaurant, there was conversation and then we went somewhere afterward. I never really went on dates with guys before we started going out - we just sort of decided 'Hey I like you, you like me, let's be BF/GF'.

I def had a good time before I met FH but I also made some stupid decisions and got into some bad habbits. I was still a mess after the nasty break up from my ex so it was good that I wasted some time on some really useless people before meeting FH.

I went on some pretty ridiculous dates - one guy planned our first vacation and where we were going to buy a house. Then he got mad at me b/c i told him to slow down and then he got a ticket in the subway for smoking lol. Needless to say I didnt see him again.

Luckily by the time FH came into my life, I had my ish together lol

Ohh and I forgot - I knew FH wasn't a jerk b/c he was so polite. He was a real gentleman and that kinda of caught me off guard. He was just a really nice guy and I had known about him for so long I knew that he just had a good heart and he really does wear it on his sleeve.

What was life like before FH?

Pretty much the same as he is now! But, he hadn't had a girl friend for any longer than 6 months, so I had to work on his clothes!!!! =)


What were you like?

Same as I am now, except I NEVER thought I was getting married. EVER. Me and my whole family knew Alicia will never get married...and he ruined my plans by being wonderful!!


Where would we be likely to find you on the weekend?

Out dancing at a bar, and then over my friends house (about 10 of us + everyones wives/husbands/gf/bfs are still friends from highschool) having fireside chats.


What was your worst date ever?

this guy who was SO HOT in high school and holder asked me out one summer, and first he was like JUMPING on me during a scary movie because he was SO frightened, and then we shared this horrible kiss...i didn't call him again, and apparently he is gay now!

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?

Well, in the VERY begining, like third week or something like that, he asked me what I didn't like about him. I told him so far, nothing. And then I asked him the same question. And he said 'well, you hit more then I am used to...' cuz I used to like, push someones shoulder when they said something funny, and stuff like that. So, without thinking I was like 'ok...ok...so, lets go change your diaper and then we will continue on with the evening.' As the words were coming out of my mouth I wanted to pull them back in. it was such a ME comment, so sarcastic, but I hadn't really let that out yet, and some guys are just NOT interested in girls like that. But he started laughing SO HARD and then we were both laughing and he looked at me and said 'who is better than us?' THAT is when I knew.

What were you like before FH?
Pretty much the same, i still party the same becuase my parents and families party, so there is always something going on with us ( i never had a wile rampage of going out every single wknd and dating multiple guys)...

What was FH like before you?
the same, he is alreayd in his late 30's so he wasn't a big party animal but he is one crazy dude... he is still the life of the party, very friendly, funny...... but in his 20's he was wild.. dated sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many girls...

we dated a few months long ago and 5 years later i still thought about him, i always said to myself he is the one that got away... thankfully it was meant to me.. He wasn't into being serious back then, so it would of not worked out

I was a party girl- I definitely liked to go out with my girls to bars and clubs.

He was a debbie downer - always with a puss on his face(he's my friends cousin - so I went to alot of their family parties and saw him in passing). The first night we hung out I didn't know he was coming and when she told me I was so annoyed and asked her 'why she would invite a guy with a stick up his A$$ to come out with us'

What was your worst date ever?
Worst date ever was by far this super cute teacher. He was definitely a good on paper guy. He has his masters was working to be a principle. Dad was head of Board of Ed - Food Department and mom was a professional pianist. It was our second date (and if I told you what happened on the first you'd question as to why i went on a second date) It was a lunch date cause he told me he was going to a block party at his sisters house. Ok..... so he picks me up - mind you I'm dressed very cute cause this is only our second date- and he's like you're officially fancy for lunch. I ignored this but whatever so we go out to eat. Afterwords he's like I want to take you somewhere. He ends up talking me to a shooting range - which thankfully was closed (i hate guns and any one who hunts). Then proceeds to tell me that he's an avid hunter and opens the trunk where he's got at least four giant guns with scopes and sh it. seriously???? *** weirdo. SO then we get in the car and he's like I guess we'll go to my sister's early. I was like huh? He goes on about the block party (which he told me about but never invited me to) Soooooo now i'm irritated not only am I dressed up in a halter top and heels for a block party I didn't know I was invited to but I'm also going to meet his family on our SECOND date! I was so aggravated but just went with it. It only got worse. He leaves me half the time to talk to neighbors, finally introduces me as his gf (really I've known you about three seconds) When its finally time for him to take me home... The whole car ride he talks about how his dad used to beat him. It was the night that just wouldn't end. I never returned his calls after that.

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?
I knew FH wasn't a jerk once I started talking to him and saw how down to earth he was. We had so much in common and he always kept to his word even with smallest things.

What was life like before FH?

It was really the same. I was never a party animal, I was always the same person I am today. I did go out more with my girls and we went to eat out, movies, etc. Now I am home more and don't go out as often without FH. I was also less independent because I still lived at home. I didn't worry so much about finances and future. I worked, but I saved more since I didn't have a car, apt and utilities to pay...lol. One thing I did do was stay up late online or on the phone with friends. I used to go to sleep at like 2-3 and wake up at 6 for work. Now if I am not in bed by 12:30, I am dead the next day...lol. getting old.

What were you like?
I was the same way I am today minus the cooking part. I lived at home before FH and didn't know how to cook.

What was he like?
Party Animal. Always going out, partying with friends, player type. When I met him, I never thought we would have anything substantial because he was known now to settle down and didn't like to be tied down. I guess a girl can change you :)

Where would we be likely to find you on the weekend?
Now or then? Now, I am most likely spending time with my FH and baby. Before, I would be out shopping, movies, going out, etc. I didn't like to stay home on the weekends.

What was your worst date ever?
I went to see Lord of the Ring with my ex in Florida and was so bored with the movie, I fell asleep....lol.

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?
I took a shot. I gave it a chance. It all started with a post it at work that said 'call me....lol'

I was a good girl- gone wild for a little bit,
had a different date every night of the week (im was on match.com)

no i didnt sleep around, but i had fun just being single and dating lots of people

then FH came and he was sweet and caring and liked it when i wore my hair curly and put on my glasses, and most important he didnt care about my weight. He said i was beautiful at any weight. When I told him I was sick, he didnt even blink :)

i didnt have to try to look pretty for him, he thought i was perfect just the way i was.

What were you like before FH?
Count me in with the party girls . My friends and I would leave work at 5 on a monday, hop on a bus to AC at port authority, party until the last bus back to the city, sleep for like 2 hours and then go to work again! I can't believe I survived like this. We'd have happy hours almost every day too. I was living at home rent free my first year out of college so I blew all my money on shopping and partying. I was also a complete commitmentphobe and dated just for fun. I actually had a list of guys I wanted to date before getting married i.e teacher, cop, firefighter, guy with accent LOL

What was FH like before you?
FH def went through his wild party days but that was also when he was in his early 20's. Since he's 5 years older than me, he had already grown out of that period so he was way more responsible by the time I came around. He had had one long relationship before me and never thought he'd get married!

What was your worst date ever?
short version - one of the army guys in Penn Station who actually looked like a big ol dweeb and WAY older than me out of uniform. took me to applebees and talked non stop about his stupid juicer. Gave me 'i love army' calendar and key chain and said he didn't want to go to the movies because terrorists target places with large groups of people.

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?
Like I said, I was the commitmentphobe and he never gave up on me. He was persistant but not pushy. If we had an argument, he'd be the one to demand we talk it out. I was always quick to give up in the beginning and just move on but he wouldn't let me and it proved to me how much he wanted to make it work at all costs.

He also impressed me because if I pointed out something that bothered me, he wouldn't be defensive, he'd just work on it. for ex, I hated that he'd always be late to pick me up from the train station. When I finally mentioned it, he was early the very next time and continues to bat at a 80% average.

stuff like that makes me think he's a keeper

things were very different before FH.

I was married before that and going through a bad divorce. I swore I'd never remarry.

What was life like before FH?
after th ex and I broke up, I went crazy. I was out every night being a ho! hahah well no a total ho, but partying and dating 8 gays at once. fun times actually. lol

What were you like?
really I've always been me. I'm wayy too nice to people that dont deserve it. I give people wayyy too many chances before I'm done. I did hurt a few people bc I wasnt serious about them though.

Where would we be likely to find you on the weekend?
hanging w my besty linda. she's actually much more mature than I am so she'd be out shopping or dinner etc. Out w this guy i was involved with in the city. out on a zillion dates, clubs etc. Oh and then i was with peanut boy but you all know how that turned out.

What was your worst date ever?
hahaha I posted a thread about this months ago. I had so many bad dates. My fav being the guy who whipped out a pic of himself on our 1st date at a diner and said, 'this is me when I came out of the coma.'

I had so many bad dates it's not funny. well, they are funny but...

How did you know FH wasn't a jerk like the rest of them?
he was just so attentive from the start. he came to my job and checked on me. he bought me cute things knowing I loved them. He was just thoughtful and I loved that.

before I met FH I was pretty much going out every weekend. locally. we would sometimes go to the college bars and the city. Would dress up (not as skanky as some of my friends LOL)

I kinda stalked my FH in 6th grade. He went to public school and I went to Catholic shcool. we both went to the summer rec program and I fell in love with him then. Never spoke to him ever!

I never forgot about him, but dated some guys during highschool and college..


then we finally met at a bar nontheless lol in 06!!!!!!!!!!!!!, by the first convo we had I just knew he was not like everyone else even though some girls were in love with him at the time and tried telling me things to not like him lol. *******!

Life before FH.. I was a party animal and that hasnt changed LoL! I still party just with him now too I was always at the clubs, bars in the city.. I dont do clubs anymore but we do go out to bars and parties!

I had a few worst dates...One in particular that I left early because the guy seriously WOULDNT TALK!!!!!!!!!! I was like wow this is so akward LoL
Another guy was just rude he spent the whole time out texting and being on the phone with his friends..

I knew FH wasnt a jerk like all my exes because he was just so different. Just the way he acted with me the way he talked to me. how supportive he was with everything I was going thru. He is truly amazing!! LOVE HIM!

I had just broken up with my Ex-FH before I met FH, well not just broke up, but you get my drift, and i wasn't 100% back to normal but FH came along and healed me right back up!

What was FH like before you?
he was obsessed with classic cards and restoring the ones that he had. so basically all he did was go to work and then work at his garage on the weeknds on his own cars and go to car shows. i added 'fun' to his life. lol

I had just went off to college breaking up with a long term bf, and I was a little crazy my first semester of freshman year...then I met FH and that changed. I hadn't really been a party animal before I went to college but college def let out my inner crazy.

With a serious gf...same as he is now i would say.

Well when FH was still dating me even though I was in FL in college I knew this was something..years flew by and we were just as in love and having fun as we were when we first started dating...

My life was a mess. Parts of it were fun, butI smoked a lot (and not just cigs) and drank until I didn't feel feelins' no mo'. (no really, I was bad). You were likely to find my at my friends house in the basement smoking and playing video games. I believe my butt was imprinted on his couch. I can't really remember any worse dates, and I knew he wasn't a jerk because he was the only guy EVER that didn't let me help him pay a tab when we went out.

For real. My life would suck without him. :)

Well life was non stop craziness for me before I started dating FH!
I was in a tumultous relationship with a man and ended up getting engaged..... The engagement didnt last long due to alot of issues, including his ex wife, who was determined to make our lives a living helll, which she accomplished!
After that ended, I began a different relationship with a woman, for 2 years. I had never dated a girl or anything before it just kinda happened.

That was on again, off again, with crazy single dating in between, going out alot, concerts, partying etc...
I did love her, but ultimately knew in my heart I wanted to be with a man and get married, have kids, etc.....
With that relationship, I lost alot of friends. Friends of mine that disapproved of the relationship I was in, totally dissed me and judged and stopped speaking to me. Bad time in my life.

After that relationship ended, I was single for a lil while and at a work function, FH and I, who were co-workers for a yr already, started talking casually at the event and exchanged numbers and decided to hang out, as friends. He invited me over and that 1st night, I fell head over heels for him and knew I would be with him forever! *Funny part is he thought I'd just be someone cool to chill with cause he thought I was gay!!!!

Hopefully no judgements here, I just shared alot with u girls!!!! All Love!!!!

I never was a real party animal. I was in a sorority but was never a big drinker or one to hook up with all sorts of guys. I've always been a boyfriend person. I had 4 boyfriends from high school on. When I broke up w/ one I found another

Fh was a party animal. Lets just say his number is definitely well into the double digits where as mine is only 3.

I dont think ive ever had any horrible dates that i can think of

I didnt. I was always attracted to the jerks and just took a chance on him.
