******QOTD 10/8/10*******

Since some of us have been experiencing some aggravation this week, this one is for you!!!!

If you could pick one person to banish to a remote island for the remainder of your wedding planing who would it be and why? If you haven't had a difficulty with one single person during this process feel free to discuss how you live in a bubble!!!! It am just playing, but seriously that's good for all of you out there!!!


Mine would be FMIL for her past comments about me and FH!!!!! If I have to hear that it is a big wedding one more time and that we should have a wedding in a backyard, sorry but she is off to Guam!!!!!! What she gets to come back for the wedding she has gotten a lot better though!!!

I would def have to say my mom. I've sending out my STDS this week and I've been asking her for the addresses of her family and she keeps on adding and subtracting people and it's getting me SOOOOOOOOO aggrivated!!!

And I've been going back and forth with her about her dress for the wedding. UGH!!!

I'M STRESSING OUT JUST TYPING THIS!!!!

hmmmmmmm this is tough because no one has really been bothering me throughout this process since we're basically taking care of everything ourselves and I got everything under control. We also don't share too much info about the wedding with our parents (the min. they need to know). I've learned that once you start getting into detail then people's opinions start to fly and that's when you start to get nuts and resent involving certain people.

I'm going to have to dissapoint you and say no one. I'm officially in a bubble LOL

Fmil she's the only one whose asked dumb questions and has been annoying about my moms dress or why she didnt get invited to vendor appoinments. Ummm my mom didnt even go to vendor appoinments and you live ib ct! Also took her a year for her to give us her invite list and because of that my parents couldnt throw us an eparty ehhj

can i send myself? i need a nice vacay...

As much as I love her to death, I'd probably send my sister! We are two completely opposite people with really different tastes. She had a fancy black tie wedding in a castle, where as we are trying to keep ours fairly low key and laid back. It seems like everything I mention to her, and my mom as well, is 'tacky'. Like really? Not having a full string ensemble for the ceremony to save $ is tacky? Or my RH is tacky just because its rustic looking? oye.

First and formost FH's exwife! but i want to banish her forever! she is the most annoying, pesty, lazy person on the planet. however she is the mother of his son so she will not go away...

Second I would like to banish my budget because it stresses me out and pisses me off constantly

third i would like to banish my daughters preschool teacher and director who know nothing about education and stressed me out all week... now i have to look and find a new school to send my daughter to... therefore i have done no wedding planning this week and that makes me mad!!!!!

i will keep thinking of people to banish - i love this - it makes me feel like the evil queen and i get to banish people for all eternity

Ummm to be honest - no one... I mean my mom, FH, FMIL and FFIL have all dropped some strange comments a long the way but nothing that really has made me that made. I guess its a given when you mix different personalities that some ideas won't always make sense to other people.

Knock on wood - ive been pretty lucky.

For my bestie who is getting married this weekend - i would send her FMIL, OMG the stories I could tell you guys.

Although my FMIL and FSIL's are not aggravating me per se, their lack of commitment and assistance is aggravating me!

They have not offered to help at all in any way, shape, form. They don't show any interest in the wedding and as far as I am concerned, I could care less if they are banished to another island and don't show up. I know that is my future family, but I am sickened by their lack of commitment to anything that is associated with our marriage or family. My son has not received anything from them in his 2 years of existence. I will be lucky is they come with 1 envelope for all 3 of them...lol.
To make matters worse, my FSIL dresses a little, how do I put this nicely...Inappropriate and I am trying to figure out a way to say that my wedding is classy and not trashy...lol (Sorry for the rant)....lol

LOL @ how FSIL dresses ... Fh cosuins dress, less than appropriate, i tackled this by making my fb status 'if you dress like a tramp, or wear anything that resembles white, you will be asked to leave'

People are still talking about how they were dresses for my son's first birthday party!!! There was a bet to see if she was going comando that night!!!!!
