QOTD - 10/9

If you take a look at this weeks questions - they are all reallly about one thing - control. So, my question today is, who really wears the pants in the relationship - you or FH?

FYI - I will be out of town until Tuesday. So, I will be handing my veil back to Amanda starting tomorrow to fill in for me for purposes of QOTD (hers are soooooooo much better anyway). She will post the new BOTW on Sunday, which I will FM her. Hope this is all OK with you ladies.

The majority of the time its me - very rarely do I concede defeat.

Well first have fun on your trip!

I have to say the people who know me say I wear the pants and the people who know FH say he wears the pants. Personally, I think I wear the pants, I am very controlling and I like things done a certain way.

I would say neither of us 'wear the pants'. If i can't get him to do something, he won't do it lol same with me.

We both wear the pants, I just look better in them. It took me a while to learn to share and not think it all about me. I'm a straight shooter, so may hurt someone feels without realizing it.

Have a great time!

I think FH & I both wear the pants equally. There are times where it seems I do more than he and vice versa. I wouldn't say one of us wears it completely over the other.

I def wear the pants in the relationship if I left everything up to FH nothing would be done right if at all. and when it comes to stressfull or heated situations he's bad at handeling them he'll just sit and say nothing so people walk all over him but now that he has me I dont let that happen

i have to say that we both wear the pants in the relationship. we can both be a little stubborn at times. we both excel in different areas so we are good compliments of each other.

If you ask FH he will tell you that I am the boss-he has always said this from the beginning. But its really not true, I think is 50/50. I'm more level headed than FH and know what it takes to gets certain things done-whereas he has no clue.

We both say that we wear the pants...but in reality we actually both do...We always consult each other on decisions and neither one of us 100% has the final word.

i wouldnt say that i wear the pants but i can get him to do pretty much whatever i want.. not by controlling or demanding but by whining or batting my eyelashes.. works every time..

First of all, Barbara you did a great job this week. My questions were not sooooo much better sweetie, yours were great I had fun with them. And thank you for entrusting the rest of your week with me. Should've asked you first to make sure you didn't have plans this week!

My answer........I honestly don't know. Power shifts back and forth. Some days I'm more dominant and vice versa. Also, I'm more dominant in certain situations and vice versa. Just asked my coworkers and they agreed......they did say it's like 60/40 with me being more dominant.

I think most people would say me...but i dont always feel that way. But FH does all the cleaning, usually has to consult with me on purchases (only b/c he is so irresponsible with money) and when he goes out with friends (only b/c he has two kids...and I wouldnt think it's appropriate for him to just assume I am there to handle it all). So while I look like a bossy control freak -- there is reason for it : )

To answer the question, I would say fh wears the pants. He's overall more of top of things and more controlling than me (but not in a bad way). I kinda like it that way. It's pretty equal and he doesn't take advantage of the fact that he handles most things in our relationship.

I tell him all the time I am the boss and we laugh about it but it is sooo true. Unless I dont want to make a decision and ask him to I usually am calling the shots. I actually got really offended at one of the reception halls when we were looking when the BM wouldnt talk to me and only talked to FH. I thought it was just me but when we left FH said geez he wouldnt stop asking me questions it was like he didnt want to hear what you had to say LOL CRAZY!!!

have fun barbara, u derserve it after these last couple of weeks!

I guess we both wear the pants in a way, but i don't like to think of it like that. FH and I have great communication and I think that keeps us balanced. I definitely have a soft spot with him that makes it easy for him to do things that he would never do for anyone else, but it's supposed to be like that since i'm his future wife. But it works in reverse as well. He has a soft spot with me that makes me do things I'd never thought I'd do for anyone.
