QOTD 1/1/08!!!!! (we're getting married next year!)

Next year is our year so is time to start planning our wedding... the holidays are over is time to plan plan plan, that way we are not so stress this time next year.
The quetion of the date is what is the next thing on your list, wedding related, that you have to take care of?

Everything! We only booked the hall, but I cant start doing anything til May when I graduate. 'you need to focus on school not the wedding' as my parents and FH say! although at the rate my mother is going i'll have nothing left to do! Shes bought the favors the place card holders and some other things, without asking me of course!!!!

Dont you love mothers and having there own idea of the perfect wedding

I just dont know how to tell her nicely to lay off a bit!!! Its 2 years away and I want to be a part of it too!!! I guess shes just over excited!

We have pretty much evertything to do except the hall and church.

We got the church, officiant and seeing the photographer Friday.

I'm meeting with Florists in January and then on to the limos. After that it's just the little things I need to do that I can do as the wedding gets closer! Oh yea I need to find out about when we need to do Pre Cana also.

I am going to do look at dresses soon! I guess I will be able to book hotels soon. We are going to Paris and Amsterdam in April, so I probably won't do anything until after that.

according to my family, we need a ring to make it official...

I'm sort of in the same spot...when FH proposed he used a ring that I had really wanted but its not an engagement ring , because I always said I wanted to design my own engagement ring and since FH works for an armored guard company that deals with jewelers on 5th ave he found a guy who could customize it for me...well long story short - i took too long deceidin on what I wanted and when we went to meet with him he had a sign on his door that said he was going to be gone for awhile due to a family emergency and he hasn't been back since the summer..so we're giving him another month or so and then FH said we're looking elsewhere because its been too long!

But I also really really need to find a hall!!!!! I need to get back into planning..I said i was going to wait until after the holidays and now i'm in lazy-mode plus my birthday is coming up and i'm trying to plan for my friends baby shower..AHH I think I'm going to be gray by the time of the wedding!
