**QOTD 11.10.11**

I cannot wait to have some babies! I have a friend who's about 6 months pregnant and we were discussing baby names.

Have you and FH talked about baby names? What names do you like?
And do you have any associations with certain names? (good or bad).

I love the name Ella, ever since I had the cutest little girl named Ella in my summer camp group. I also like Emma, Lia (or Leah), Madeline, and Cameron (not because of Cameron Diaz lol). I knew a little girl named Cameron and they called her Cammy. Really cute. I used to like Kayla, but then I began teaching and every other girl was named Kayla, so I kind of lost interest from saying the name so often.
As for boy names, I like the names Aiden and Cameron - that name can go either way for me

I can't wait to have kids!!

I like Ava Sophia for a girl. FH tells me I'm overruled when it comes to boys names and that a little boy would have to be Steven (FH and his dad are both Steven) but not Jr. BUT my favorite boy name is Cole.

I joke all the time and say that if we have two boys I'm naming one Steven Cole and the other one Cole Steven and calling them both Cole. LOL my poor children.

For a girl: Kira

I got that name from my babysitter growing up. Her name was Kara and I thought I could be her sister named Kira :) I also think its just a very different name that is unique !

For a boy: Joesph

I was pretty much told that our first boy has to be named after his father. I have no say. I really wanted Collin, but his brother beat me to it!

My SIL and my best friend just had babies 2 months apart so the baby fever is starting. I'm not fully there but its starting..hehe

FH and I are going to have a hard time w/ names since everything I throw out there he doesnt like LOL
I really like Sophie for a girl right now.
Although I tell him since their last name will be spanish, its only fair that their 1st names are irish! Irish names I like Erin, Connor, Sloan, Shane

My best friend is pregnant too! It's beyond exciting! Congrats to your friend as well!

FH and I have spoken about names briefly but nothing is set in stone.

Our daughters name is Ava Lynn and it means 'Like a Bird' and then 'From the Lake'! I've had that name picked out for a girl since I was 14 years old. We're going to start trying for our next after our wedding, in Jan.- Feb. '13 and by the time our new baby comes, Ava will be over four years old!. If it's a girl, Emma or Mya..I like Demi, Gemma, Ella, Gwen and Kate though too. If it's a boy, I'm really not sure..maybe Hayden! I'm obviously hoping for another girl

My nieces name is kira her sister is kylie and fhs name is Colin but I must say I like it better spelled with two l's thought that was funny

We haven't really discussed baby names. He did tell me if we have a boy, he wants to name him James Danger,and we can call him JD.

Wow, I always said I was gonna name my daughter Ava Lynn. Ava was one of my fav names and Lynn was my moms name!
