Happy Veteran's Day! Thanks to all that keep us safe :)

And happy 11.11.11!

So I'm going to devote the questions to the two things going on today (you can answer either)...

1. Veteran's Day - Do you have anyone close to you (past or present) who you are very proud of for serving our country? Tell us about them

2. 11.11.11 - Awesome day because it grants wishes :) What is one REALISTIC wish you want granted today?


1. The only veteran I was close to was my grandpa. He died in 2003. He served in the Korean War and went on to become a NYC cop. He was always a very strong and determined man.

2. I would love to get a full time teaching job!! (Or full time anything job for that matter).

I dont have family that has served, however my best friend's husband just retired from the Marines. He was a pilot and has served all over the world.

I wish for FH's co-op to sell! 6 months and not a single offer :(

1. My grandfather was in the Navy and served in WWII. He really never used to talk about it though but I'm still proud of him nevertheless.

2. I'd really like a permanent job. I've been temping since getting laid off in 2009 (due to the job market) and just want to settle in somewhere again.

Can't answer the first question since I don't know anyone serving.
Second question I just wish that we are able to pay off our wedding.

My cousin is a Navy doctor, stationed at Camp Lajuene, NC. I'm proud of her, she wanted to be a doctor, went through military medical school and is serving our country as a psychiatrist for men and women returning back from war.

My widh would be to have our wedding paid off and to not have to question every item I purchase.

I have a pretty good friend of mine who just got home from serving our country! I'm taking him out with FH to celebrate our birthdays together next week and this is my first time seeing him since February of this year when he deployed. My grandpa is a veteran, and a lot of my friends husbands and friends from HS are serving our country.

Hmm...I guess just to have a beautiful wedding and have everything run really smoothly! :)
