QOTD 11/12/09

Hi girls, I wanted to get this posted early, I have a busy day today, I have my first dress fitting and my menu appt and lots of other things in between

For those that are married already, what was your favorite part of planning your wedding/or favorite thing to work on during the wedding process?

For those that are still planning, what has been the best part to plan soo far/or work on soo far?

I've enjoyed planning all the thematic elements the best....not necessarily implementing them LOL, a lot were really tedious, but I have a very, very specific vision and it's been really fun to put all those ideas together and see how they come out day of.

It was definitely NOT the guest list. I think my favorite part was stuff related to my dress. I am fairly tomboyish in appearance on a daily basis so it surprised me how much I loved being a woman when it came to my dress/accessories!

I actually enjoyed booking our vendors and going to different RH's to see everything! it was very sureal! especially when we found the one!!!

Dress shopping!! I wish I didn't find my dream dress so quickly...I would have tried on 100 more!

My favorite part was making our favors. We had donated to the ASPCA and decided in addition to that we wanted aomething tangible to give our guests. We made sugar cookies in the shape of dog bones! DH, me and my parents spent the weekend before the wedding rolling out dough and baking together. We had some drinks, listened to music and just really enjoyed each others company.

My favorite part was going to all of the RH’s… I loved looking at all of the different places!

fav part was just making it our own..we did things that we iked tat maybe were atypical for others,but in the end it turned out perfct an people had the best time

My fav part were all my DIY's!!! I loved being able to express my creativity and I think it payed off in the end

My favorite was the invitation. I loved working on this with Tessssa. She was fantastic and really captured what I was looking for.

It was all fun, but I would say either picking the band... we went to hear them at Jones Beach Bandshell and danced the night away (we only listened to one band).

Or...

Dress shopping... both my own and with the girls.

I loved all the things DH and I got to do together. We had such a blast visiting all the different halls, especially this one in Jersey that gives you a tasting on your first visit. I also really enjoyed going to my florist, he was super nice and what he made always excited me.
