Good morning! Are you and the FH exchanging bride/groom gifts? Have you talked about it? Is it a surprise?
Honestly, my FH and I haven't discussed getting each other anything - we're financially strapped as it is. I totally don't expect a gift from him and I definitely won't be disappointed if there isn't any extra goodie from him day-of. That said, I am so excited to surprise him with a cigar roller at our reception. He mentioned he wanted one at the beginning of wedding planning and I shot him down right away - it wasn't in budget. I can't wait to see his face

we haven't discussed it yet and I'm not sure what we're going to do, if we do something. he has mentioned he'd like me to do a boudoir shoot, but i'm not sure i have the nerve for that yet.
so funny, because i was thinking i might surprise FH with a cigar roller, too. but they're all soooo expensive!

I think I am going to do the boudoir shoot and give him a book as a surprise. He has no idea I'm even thinking about it. To be honest, I don't even think he knows what a boudoir shoot is, lol!! I don't know if he'll get me anything, and I won't be disappointed if he doesn't. Getting to marry him (ok, and my ring!) is enough!

he's paying for my wedding day jewelry (that I already got) and I'm surprising him with cufflinks :) and a groom shirt so when he goes out to breakfast with his boys he can wear it. and I'm surprising him with another shirt that says under new management to wear on plane to our honeymoon :) he def spent more money on me lol. but I figure one day he'll want the new playstation that is like $500? so we're even lol.

If you're going to do the boudoir shoot, I would do it soon. You never know how easy it will be to get an appointment and/or how long it will take to get the proofs back. Better safe than sorry! I think I'm going to go through Groupon when I do it too. God bless Groupon! LOL!

Re: QOTD 11/13/13
I just asked him because of this post and he said he didn't want anything. So since we were stopping in Disneyland for two days after the wedding before heading to Hawaii, we agreed we'd get each other something from Disney
We discussed it and these gifts aren't a priority for us. I would guess we'll both do a little something for eachother but we definitely don't want to invest a lot of money in gifts after paying for this wedding ourselves.
ETA: a friend of mine said that she and her husband bought eachother gifts on the honeymoon that way they 1) had money from the wedding to buy them and 2)got memorable souvenirs from their trip. I thought that was a cool idea.

We haven't discussed it lately, but I'm pretty sure we're skipping bride/groom gifts. Our wedding is like 2 months after Christmas so that's enough presents for me! Lol

yes we would be exchanging gifts.. i got him a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner with a custom cake topper for him.. he's into weightlifting, so I got him a cake topper of him in his tux lifting me in my gown, and the cake looks like stacked weights with an ipod and a waterbottle

That sounds super cute, Claire. We almost decided on this custom cake topper with a football theme.....the groom in a jets jersey and bride in a pats jersey, with the bride trying to drag the groom over to her 'side'....went with something a little 'prettier' but I still love that topper

we haven't discussed it- I plan to get him a grooms cake for rehearsal, boudoir photos, and a cigar roller at cocktail hour. I'd love to get him a breitling but I just don't think I can swing that too. He is giving me the wedding of my dreams& got me the most beautiful ring. He def deserves it!

We haven't discussed it yet. We're going to spending a ton of money around the time of the wedding moving into our new place and buying all new furniture and stuff so I'm not sure what we'll decide. I am hoping to get him a groom's cake for the RD and possible b-pics if I can swing it later on but as of right now, no. We'll see!

We haven't got round to discussing it yet. The wedding still is a long way ahead. I want to give him something really exquisite. He loves playing the guitar so I thinking of picking up a really good one. Any ideas on this.

We haven't really fully discussed this yet, but I would like to do a boudoir shoot if I can come up with the nerve to do it. I would like to also get him skull cufflinks he can wear on the wedding day since he is big into that. I would also like to do a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner. I have no idea if he is planning on getting me anything. Marrying him is enough for me :)Maybe I will discuss it with him tonight lol
