FH and I are trying to decide where to go on our honeymoon. So, today's QOTD is:
What is the best vacation you have been on as a couple and what was your favorite thing you saw?
FH and I went on a Cruise a couple of years ago and one of the stops was Dubrovnik, Croatia. Neither of us had been there before and we absolutely loved it. We spent the day walking around the old city and found this little bar perched on the cliff overlooking the sea. It was the most beautiful day and one our best memories of the trip!

we went to Europe in March to London, Paris and Rome. Seeing the Eiffel tower was just crazy. I won't ever forget when we walked around this building and came out right into like this big opening and there it was. we just both stopped and were like OMG. to see it in person. I never thought I'd ever be there or go there. we went for my 30th bday (though my bday was in sept lol)
I just will never forget that feeling of seeing it for the first time, for the rest of my life. or laying in bed in our hotel room at night and watching it out the window as it'd sparkle every hour until it shut off at I think midnight or 1 am.

That sounds like an amazing trip! Your description of seeing the Eiffel Tower is so vivid! Paris is definitely on the list! Thanks!
It's a def toss up between our trip to Europe or to Turks & Caicos. Europe was amazing! We went to Amsterdam, Munich (for Oktoberfest) and Paris. It was such a great experience to share with him. We saw so many things we never thought we'd be able to!
Turks & Caicos was awesome because FH won the trip on the radio. The contest was for 4 days at the Beaches resort so we didnt have to pay for a single thing. Our room got upgraded to the best they had. We felt like royalty!

Our first vacation together was in the summer of 2009 and he asked if I wanted to go to Disney World. I had only been once before, in 2001. I had fuzzy memories of that trip so I agreed. I became a Disney-aholic after that! All our Disney trips since then are my favorite. I can't pick one.
We went to southern California together (San Diego & Los Angeles) in 2011. That was my first trip out there, to see my aunt, and I've been back a few times since then, solidifying that we need to move to San Diego!
We've been a few other places together but those two are my favorites.

We've been on a ton of little weekend trips but our first and only REAL vacation was in August of 2012 to Hawaii and it was where we got engaged. I really can not put into words how incredible it was. Every second of that trip was amazing and I'm hoping we'll make it back at some point, but there are so many other places I want to go before seeing the same place twice!

My favorite trip together was to Tamarindo, Costa Rica. I had been to Costa Rica before, but it was FH first time and it was so cool to see him fall in love with the place like I had years ago. Of course, the nature and wildlife is generally gorgeous. The best thing I saw, though, was probably my FH try his hand at surfing. I really wish I had it recorded

We have been to a lot of places, but our favorite vacation spot by far was San Francisco. I had been there before for a conference, but it was FH's first time. We were walking down the Golden Gate bridge, the weather was perfect and the view was spectacular. The most memorable part, however, was when FH looked at me and said that he wished he had a ring to give me right then (this was a month before we actually got engaged).

Niether one of us have ever been travelers.. but we love weekend road trips for concerts or games..
My favorite is the weekend we got tickets to a Rangers @ Flyers game.. They were calling for a blizzard getting there was fine a few flurries nothing major .. Rangers win yay leave the arena and there is piles of snow everywhere with no end in sight.. LOL. IT took us at least 5 hours and two pit stops to get home in my 1995 Chevy Berretta.. We really did alot of bonding on that trip.. But it was one of our most favorite games ever!

We haven't been out of the country together yet, but we have traveled in the U.S. Our favorite places were Maine, New Hampshire, and our most recent Arizona. Absolutely beautiful. Out Arizona trip was also the first time we have been on a flight together haha. Needless to say we will probably be moving to Maine or New Hampshire eventually :)

For as long as we have been together we have both been college students, grad students, and now first year employees so the vacations have been limited, and mostly accompanied by our families. That being said, we went to Disney together and that was obviously amaze. We got engaged in Italy which was the obvious choice for best vacation because its so romantic, even with his entire extended family there lol. We did Rome and Florence but we always dream about going to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and Venice.
