QOTD 11/2/08

First let me say Im so excited to be bride of the week!!! so, here goes the question .....

What is the one thing that you wish you could cut out of your wedding all together if you had a choice??

for me it would be the guest list. My FH and I are paying for the wedding and I had wanted a small wedding but his parents are divorced and inviting alot of people and we are paying for about 60 ppl that I have never even seen or heard of before. and thats not including family!!

My big bridal party...I always wanted just a MOH and best man but now I have 10 people.

Children...we're having a very small guest list, and about 20-25 are the 125 are children. In a perfect world, it'd be adults only, because the children are pretty rambunctious. Unfortunately, it's FH's family, and his parents are doing most of the RH, so we don't really have a say in the matter.

i think it would be the STRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fh and i are very relaxed people ad hate the idea of us being stressed. he is NO fun stressed and i want this to be about us getting married, not having a wedding. the wedding should be the fun part of the whole experience.

I would say the stress of paying for the whole thing. Luckily both sets of parents are helping us but it is still a lot of $$$$. When ever we have a disagreement about the wedding it is about money.

I sometimes wish that I was independelty wealthy like the people on Platinum weddings

Definitely the stress of paying all the vendors!!!!!! Right now being less than 5 months away....all my paychecks are going to vendors

hmmm i wish i could cut the cost of the gifts i gotta get from my bp. i have 12 girls, 10 guys and 2 fg's!!! i loveee them all and i want them all in it, but im gonna be poor haha

I think I would cut out our first dance. I know we're going to be the center of attention all day, but stuff like that makes me feel really self conscious and I don't want people looking at us dancing for several minutes.

I would have a smaller bridal party. I have 8 on each side...there is really no one to eliminate, and it's fine...but in a perfect work 5 would have been great.

This is a really tough one....... I would have to say the expense. I knew it would be tough and yes I cut as many corners as I could but you can't help wanting what you want for your once in a lifetime event!

It would be fantastic to be able to cut the cost!!

However, since this is LI, it's not happening. The only thing I would really like to eliminate is all the drama surrounding it. The wedding is a year away, and I'm already getting 'don't put me at the same table as this one' and 'what do you mean, you're not doing the VH'
