Hey ladies happy Turkey Day!! Enjoy!

Okay since thanksgiving is the official start of the holiday season, the QOTD is:

What is your favorite holiday memory from childhood/and/or traditions?

Mine are watching the muppets and regular christmas carol with my family and cousins every year. One year when we were little my cousins and I (7 of us) put on a christmas carol play for our parents, it was so fun !! And my brother and I used to collect branches when we went christmas tree shopping and put them together and make a little *charlie brown tree* to decorate.

Watching the Thanksgiving day parade on TV and playing football in the backyard with my cousins.

when we were little we went to my gmas for Christmas Eve every year and after dinner my bro and i would fall asleep on the couches in the living room! Oh btw Im italian so dinner was hours (hence why we fell asleep)!!!! well when the adults were done setting up all the presents they would rings these old sleigh bells and tell us to hurry and look out the window that santa just left and if we hurried we would see him.... of course we were never quick enough!!!!

just being with my family.

My one fav memory of Thanksgiving was my grandfather who passed away when i was 13 would always always take us to the parade. He always knew the perfect spot to park and to watch the parade.

My family is Italian so EVERY Christmas Eve we do the 7 fishes dinner and my dad does most of the cooking. It's a huge treat to have him do all of it - and it's just an all out feast with all of my favorite foods. It's always a big to do in my family and now my FH has joined in - which makes it extra special!

YESSSS Christmas Eve is the bestttt!!!!! When I was younger, we used to have like 30 ppl over and it was sooo much fun. Then, we got to open all our presents at midnight - could never wait for that! Unfortunately, many of our family members have passed away or moved to FL so now we don't have many ppl over for the holidays. I'm looking forward to when FH and I have a house and can start hosting the holidays and combine both of our families!!!

When I was younger my parents would always have Christmas eve at our house. There would always be a full house. Every year they had someone dress as Santa so when 12 o'clock came he would come down the stairs with a present for everyone. It's so sad thinking we dont do this anymore because everyone's doing their own thing or have moved away.

It always used to be that my brother and sister and I would have like a sleepover together in my brothers room on christmas eve. My dad would read the night before christmas to us and we would wake up at the crack of dawn to go look at prezzies and wake our parents. I miss those days :)

Sorry about my grammar haha

Happy Turkey Day!

I would say Christmas Eve is always my favorite part of the holidays!!!! My uncle (he passed a few years ago) used to dress up as Santa Claus. It was also my grandmothers birthday so we would sing happy birthday. Just the excitement of waiting for Christmas was awesome.

A new holiday tradition that I love is going to Georgia to visit FH's parents. They moved down there two and a half years ago.
