Good Morning Ladies!! Today is my 1st day as BOTW and I am oh so excited!!
Thank you so much to Melissa for making me BOTW She did such a great job and I only hope I do as good as a job.
What do you consider the small details of your wedding day that you feel are so important you just couldn't leave out?
For me,It's the small details such as wine charms I would like on everyone's wine glasses. It's the medallion my FH will be giving to my 12 year old daughter during the ceremony. Another small detail I would never leave out is every way we are incorporating our Celtic heritage into Our Wedding.
Have a fabulous day Ladies!!!

i feel bad being the first post because i don't really have an answer for this...maybe because i haven't really thought about details yet? i got a pretty late start, so i'm still focused on the big stuff at this point.

I really wanted to remember some pasted loved ones, so I made 'in memory' candles to be placed on our fireplace so they are looking over us at the reception.

Congrats on BOTW!!!
Without a doubt, the earrings and necklace that I'll be wearing. The necklace is pearl and it belonged to my grandma. She wore it to her wedding, and let my mom wear it to her wedding as well. When she passed away a few years ago, it was left to my mom. She asked me a few months back if I'd like to wear it and I was floored. It's absolutely a way for my grandma to be there with me.
The earrings, also pearl, belonged to my aunt. When she passed away (also a few years ago), she left them to my cousin, and my cousin wore them to her wedding. It's also a way to have my aunt there with me.
On a less somber note, little touches like having our centerpieces being living ones (plants in cool pots) that people can take along with them and re-plant, having one dish at the dinner being either Indian or Chinese-inspired...those little things will make it truely our day

I plan to put up the pictures of my and FH's grandparents from their weddings, as well as FIL's wedding. That's something I've always wanted to do since I first saw my grandparent's wedding picture.

Wow there are so many details that I stress over...I think the big ones would be the fans for the ceremony, I really want these fans and the vendor is making me mad by not getting back in touch w me when I email and being vague when he does reply.....ugh Other than that everything is going smoothly I just wish I had unlimited money source so I can pay for everything without worrying about running out of money lol

Congrats on BOTW!!!
I guess the little details like including pieces of jewelry that belonged to my grandmothers is something really important to me that I really need to include.

1-in lieu of favors we are donating to the american diabetes assoc- it holds a special place in both of our hearts. fh's younger cousin passed from it and my sister-in-laws brother passed from it, both sets of our grandparents battle with it, my cousin, uncle, friends parents, etc. it is a very impt cause for us. 2- im having photo charms with both of my grandparents wedding pictures placed in my bouquet. my gma passed a few years ago, my grandfather passed this summer, and its not looking like i will have the other 2 there iether due to age/illness... this way all 4 of them will walk me down the aisle at least in spirit. 3- grandparents/parents will all be walking down the aisle to ave maria. it was what fmil walked down the aisle for her wedding and im doing it as a surprise for her. 4- i played the violin since i was in 3rd grade (stopped after hs/college) so im having a string quartet play my ceremony. picking out music is very special for me bc i know or have played all of the songs

I am having the bonnet from the outfit I wore at my christening sewn into my dress....my mom and my gma wore the same outfit when they made their christenings and being that my gma is still here with me at the ripe old age of 90 to share my day I want to make it very special!!!

I will have memory candles for my grandparents. My wedding date would have been my grandfather's birthday butwhich means alot to me because my grandparents were married fo over 60 years and I would love a marriage like theirs.
