QOTD 11/30/09

Good morning, ladies!

Here's my question for today:

If you could change one thing about your life, not having to do with money or the wedding, what would it be?

Right now, I really think I'd changemy professional direction. I think I could have been much more useful (andmuch more interested) as some kind of psychoanalyst. I'm not sure this lawyering thing is for me...

I would def. say my career. Especially right now since I am on a 'freelance' basis - I wish I would have started looking for a new job earlier instead of being dedicated and now being in the situation I'm in. I enjoy the career itself but I wish I would have been smarter with my own path.

Honestly the only thing I would change is how we studied for our boards...I passed and FH is still trying to pass...it's got us really stressed and sort of hanging in limbo. I also feel funny planning so much for the wedding when he hasn't yet passed. I just gotta have faith.

If i could change one thing about my life right now...would definately my education. I wish i wouldn't have screwed around during college and screwed my chances for a good grad school. I wouldve actually chosen a school I wanted to go to instead of going to one my parents wanted me to.

I think if I could change one thing, I would have focused my college studies on film and photography. I enjoyed it so much but never went further with and if i were to go back now I feel i would be so behind and would basically have to start from scratch. It would have been a much more enjoyable career path for me.

If I could change one thing it would also be my education. When I went for my masters I chose the easiest program and didnt go with what I really wnated to do speech pathology because when I took a couple classes it was too hard.

If I could change one thing I would probably choose to go to a CUNY school instead of private for grad school. I'm dreading all the student loans I'm going to have once I graduate in May!!

I would also say that I would change my undergrad (go to CUNY/SUNY instead of private)...BUT then I wouldn't have met FH!!! So..I'm happy I went to private undergrad even though I have a ton of loans!

I would have stayed in College the first time so I wouldnt be sitting her at my job trying to cram all my school work in. Oh and that I would have stayed in school so I could be working a better job.

I don't know....I'm pretty happy where I am both educationally and professionaly. I feel like the decisions I have made in life have led me to where I am and I'm blessed to be where I am in life. (Plus....all my issues are $$)

I'd have to say it's my career as well. I am more talented and can handle a much more challenging position than where I am currently. I just wish the economy was better so there were more jobs available so I could finally find something great!!!

I would also have to say my career/education path as well. I have a good job but I fell like I am looking ot be more challenged and am considering going back to school again. We will see..
