Hi Ladies!

Thank you so much for the support about my Grandmother.. I had the day today to make the funeral board with my cousin and they came out beautiful.. then I had some time alone to clean my apartment and just get myself ready for the week because her wake is Monday, Tuesday and burial Wednesday, so my week is going to be pretty hectic. Since I had some down time to clean out my wedding binder, I thought of a question for today and tomorrow since I won't be around tomorrow..

What method do you use to organize your wedding planning? I originally started with this little bridal notebook my MOH gave me when I first got engaged, but I grew out of that really fast! Mine is a Martha Stewart binder with all tabs in them to organize my needs.

What do you ladies use?

xoxo

I am a compulsive researcher and prefer doing things online. I have a ton of Excel Spreadsheets, word docs, etc. on my computer and backed up on FH's computer. I save copies of all the contracts, receipts, payment schedules, etc. in a binder. I also use a checklist (obtained from various sources online) to make sure I'm on track with planning and doing wedding things. There's always LIWeddings, Pinterst and Etsy to give me ideas.

I too use Martha Stewart binder bur it's too heavy to carry around everyday. I have spreadsheets I use for budget and guest lists and of course Pinterest boards. My sister who got married 10 years ago is so jealous we have so many websites now to use.

Again, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandma!

To answer your Q, I used my old college chemistry notebook for the first couple of weeks haha ... Because I knew I was going to get a binder from my aunt so I was just waiting it out until then. But the binder (the sky blue one titled 'Easy Wedding Planner, Organizer & Keepsake' by Wedspace.com), as useful as it is, is too bulky to carry around. So I made a notebook to carry around to jot down lists. I keep a separate folder for the honeymoon itinerary.

I'm using a wedding binder from the the knot to organize our wedding planning and also the knot.com. Our wedding website is through the knot.com too

I am using a pink wedding binder I bought at barnes and nobles. I think it is from the makers of the knot. I don't carry it around because it is way too heavy now! So I also have a small planner I use!

So sorry to hear about your loss. Sending love and strength your way.

As far as your Q: I use both a marble notebook and a pink binder with a 'Tinkerbell' folder. I take both with me to work - I jot down random ideas and lists in the marble notebook and print outs of important information that I find online ie: Tip Guidelines, pose ideas for the photog, ideas of dresses before I found it. I bought a binder with a ton of information from Barnes & Noble, but it's too bulky and I feel I find better information online.

A friend of mine who got married last year made me a binder when I got engaged. I was so impressed with her binder when she was getting married, she was so organized so I wanted the same thing. I asked for her help making one and she surprised me and made it for me! It has folders, tabs, neatly made labels, it's the best. I also have a little notebook I keep in my purse for joting down notes.

I made a binder and also have a bunch of spreadsheets on my computer. Anything to try and stay organized!
