The new thing with some of my friends is the 'naked shower', where you display the gifts instead opening them in front of your guests. Will anyone be doing this?

This is so funny that you bring up this topic because I was talking to my sister MOH about this last night - I would love it to be a surprise but no one usually get's it past me - I find out somehow. But I don't want to know anything about it, I'm planning the whole wedding it will be so nice for someone else to plan this - I wont have to think
Not really sure on location - I trust my sister and Mom's taste 150%
Games / No Games doesn't really matter - I think personally I would rather no games
I love opening presents and I loved wrapping them...it's so much fun to open them...although it's probably really boring and long for your guests. But I say wrapped gifts!

i def. want mine to be a surprise. i already told my mom, i don't want to know anything about it! doesn't matter to me where it is. i would like to play games at mine.. they can be fun.

I definitely want to help plan my shower, and I want my FH to be there. He's the domesticated one, not me! I'm not sure where yet...I was originally thinking Tavern on the Green for my half of the wedding. He's from Massachusetts, so we'll have a shower there as well. I'm not really into the games and opening gifts is fun!

Great questions! I'd love for mine to be a surprise, but my mother can't keep a secret for the life of her and my girls wouldn't know how to get in touch with everyone who'd be invited and they'd have to spill the beans simply to get information from me.
Games are fun - I'd really like them! And definitely wrapped presents. I like the mystery and surprise!

As for me, I think I would like it to be a surprise. Although my mom is generally not good at this, she already ran some places by me. Actually she took us to Lombardi's on the sound to test out the food over christmas and slipped she was thinking of having my shower here. I think I would like to throw some ideas out about what I would like at my shower, but that is about it. I think some games are fun. I want the one where they ask me questions about FH & if I get it wrong I have to keep putting gum in my mouth. FH and I already think it would be fun to plan ahead of time the answers, so we can give the guests a good laugh. My mom does not want a 'naked shower' and I have to agree. Isn't that what showers are about. I currently don't have a preference of location, but I kind of want it closer to Hoboken, where we live. (I guess either Manhattan or Hoboken) I figure it is easier to get all the presents back to the apartment. Wow I really haven't given this much thought, but this all sort of flowed.
Edited for FH: He would like a man shower during my bridal shower. It basically is where all the guys get together and hang out somewhere close while the shower is going on. It is a tradition for both bridal & baby showers. It helps that we have some close friends that got married.

I would love to go traditional... I dont want to know anything about it until i walk into that room. I have enough stress from the wedding to worry about how the bridal shower is being plan. My matron of honor and man of honor will do a great job!

I'd like mine to be a surprise but I'm sure I'll suspect something and figure it out.
And I'd like to open all my gifts as opposed to them being unwrapped. I've sat through many a shower where the bride opened gift after gift, it's my turn!

i want it to be a suprise and i want to have it at mauricos orlandos. my mom does a whole bunch of games at all of the showers we did. so it should be fun

I would like mine to be a surprise. My sister is my MOH and I have a feeling she might plan some games. I guess I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 as long as they are good ones. I am not sure about opening up all of the gifts. I would probably do that because it seems like it would be planned that way and it seems like a tradition. As for location, I am not sure. I really don't care where it is.

I dont care where it is, as long as everyone i love is there...
games...well i guess that depends on who is tehre...
I dont like the naked shower thing.... i dont know why i just thinmk its so much nicer to open the gifts.....

I want mine to be a surprise.. I definitely want the girls and my mom to plan and me not be involved at all.. i think it's kinda cool to have the party thrown for ya!!! esp after the brides are doing soo much planning for the wedding.. i want tos ee what my friends come up with.
I don't care where it is.. I would just rather not have it outdoors in the warm weather..... (i get sick in the heat alot)
I love games.. i think they are ADORABLE
and im not into the naked shower thing.. i kinda like opening presents hehehehehe

I want to help plan it....don't care if they surprise me with the date....although I want to look nice for it!
I would like to do a Sunday brunch at Milk and Sugar or someplace like that.
As for games.... you can come up with a lot of good questions since FH and I have been together for 12 years so I don't care if they have those questionaires about FH and I.

i def want it to be a surprise. as far as the rest of it goes, i don't really care. i imagine i'll be just as overwhelmed with everyone's generosity and attention as i was @ the e-party, so i'll enjoy it no matter what.

I would love it to be surprise but they would probably hold a nice outfit for me so i don't go into it in my sweats!
Location i'm not really picky on. My ONLY request is that it's night in a diner!!!!---> i saw this once and i vowed that she'd never see her grandchildren! lol
