QOTD 11/7

Good morning ladies! First I wanna thank everyone for all the birthday wishes yesterday! You all put such a smile on my face! Last night was great, I had a wonderful time out to dinner with my family. And tonight, fh is taking me out! So excited!

Ok, so here's the question for today! Have a good day everyone!!!

Is there anything wedding related or for the day of the wedding that fh has asked for or just wants? Good things or even ridiculous, crazy things?

FH wanted the mashed potato bar cuz he loved it but we were trying to keep costs down. And now he got on this kick last night with my brother. My brother told us he would give us an expensive bottle (champagne or wine) of whatever we want for our wedding night and FH goes 'I want absinthe.' I told him he was crazy and he would get that for our wedding night over my dead body Other than that, he's really good about his input with the bands we are seeing and he even asked 'Can we see florists next?!'

FH wants a seafood boat. The problem is it's like an extra $20pp and there's so much food already I feel like it isnt necessary. Esp. for an extra 4,000!!

he wanted the steel drum player at cocktail hour. so we booked it! he also wanted mr. met but he is too expensive so oh well!

he said he wanted a live band, absolutely no dj. originially i didn't think it was in the budget but we worked it out and now he is really excited about that!

He wants the photo booth and cigar roller (even though he doesnt smoke cigars...) I am thinking i might try to surprise him with the photobooth, you know, tell him its out of our budget and stuff then just book it as a surprise

FH hasn't asked for anything for the wedding, its kind of funny he doesn't even really know whats happening at the wedding so everything the day of will just be one big surprise for him

(he didn't want any part of planning, he has left it all up to me and trust my judgement to plan and stay within the budget)

i have a VERY needy and involved FH
he wants:
1. to get married in the church, not RH
2. a bentley car for me and him
3. a RED rose boutonniere
4. live singer for CH
5. tall centerpieces --- and this hes very specific with... he wants the base of the vase to be wide.. then get skinny in the middle and then wide at top.. you should see him describe it..
6. and the seafood boat at the CH
7. ooo and he asked me if i could look as much like me on our wedding day as possible.(ie. hair down not too much makeup) he wants me to look how i usually do

what a handful!!!

the only thing he really told me that he HAD to have was the plasma screens and zap shots and he wasnt really budging on it so we booked that as part of our package

My FH is a little needy too. Everytime he says, 'Oh I got what I wanted in our RH' and then follows, 'But what about....'.

He wants me to look like me too, not too much makeup.

FH wants to pick the limos. He wanted a DJ (I was leaning to towards band, but Bravura is WONDERFUL).

He wanted low centerpieces, I got the high ones instead.

He comes to all the appointments, and we make the decision between the two of us.

he wanted unlimited shrimp cocktail lol hes obsessed with shrimp...... and he wanted the pig!! (we added both) and the mash potatoe bar yeaaa and i wanted sangria and didnt get it lol go figure!! but i ammmmmmmmm getting MY photographer without any questions or comments from him lol

I dont think there is anything he MUST have. He was 100% opposed to a band...until he saw Heart & Soul...and then he really wanted a band. But that's about it. He's a part of all the planning, but hasnt been too verbal about what he wants. I think he just trusts my judgement.
