Hi Ladies,

So last night I went to cut my hair at this new, really posh salon by my house. It was expensive but not as bad as I thought It would be and the cut came out beautiful! My hair is really dry from the coloring (its hard to be a blonde ) and they out a mud mask in my hair and it worked great!!! Of course they sold it and I bought it

So here is my question to you, how much did you or would you spend on a product to make yourself look better?

Well the mask was a small tube and it was $21 but it wasnt a brand I recognized but I spent the money anyway since it seemed to work. The stylist also told me that I shoudl start to use shampoo with a low ph balance and when I googled these they were so expensive So I dont know if Im going to buy them!

I buy three products for my hair BUT they last me about 5-6 months. I bought products from a salon once and it cost me 60 dollars for 2 things! So now that three roads is going out of business, I just went to Ulta and bought my stuff. It's about $15 a bottle.

I have spent $30+ on shampoo and conditioner....That was when I went from having black hair to being blond and she had to lift the black out of my hair....I would have spent any amount to try to keep my hair healthy

Lets just say when I used to work in the city I spent $400 at a hair salon there every 4-6 months... God I was dumb.. But also didnt own a house or have a fiance so I guess I didn't care about money as much! My hair has not looked as great as it did back then since, but its ok.. my $40 haircuts now are just fine.

Dont worry I used to do that too .. I would go to a salon and get my hair colored and highlighted for about 250 (just color - not the blowdry) and now that Im saving for a wedding I do my own color. But I got to say the 250 was totally worth it, I would always get compliments on my hair color back then .. not anymore!

I think I spend about $40 on Frederic Fekkai shampoo and conditioner. It didn't do anything different than my normal shampoo (Tigi Curls Rock).

Now I spend about $40 for gel for my hair but it's a 32 oz bottle so it lasts quite some time. I figure that I don't buy expensive shoes and I stopped getting expensive hair cuts so I deserve to indulge somewhere lol.

I have spent way too much money on shampoos and conditioners in the past but the budget has now set in and I'm using Dove which actually works really well. My sister is a colorist at a salon in the city so I am kind of lucky when it comes to hair cuts and coloring, I never have to pay.

I spend a 130 dollars every month for my haircut. I love my stylist & would never go anywhere or to anyone else! Its worth every penny.

Since I work in the beauty industry, I tend to splurge on beauty products (yikes) but alot of the time I get a discount...
The most expensive beauty product I use regularly is Giorgio Armani foundation (its SERIOUSLY AMAZING) which is $55.
On average I spend about $20-$30 on each product, but it lasts a long time so I don't feel so bad.

I don't really spend much on myself.... My money goes to my kids.. They look awesome and I walk around in like clothes from 3 years ago LOL.. I'm lucky that I get my cigerettes so relieve my stress every day

Oh man I spend spend spend on my hair....
Aveda and Keratase are my favorite brands, and they cost $$$$$$$$$$$$. I rationalize it, bc i use less and dont have to buy as frequently. I also buy a lot from ebay. Its sometimes a fraction of the cost that the salon charges!

I've gone through so many phases where I'll spend a lot on certain beauty products, etc. My moisturizer was $35 every 6 weeks, eye cream was $25, etc. But lately you'll never believe what I've been using on my face and it's amazing! Aveeno Daily Mosturizing Lotion! Just the plain original. It's silicone based and keeps my skin moist and clear. I use Origins Get Down face wash which is $16, but it's amazing! I use Herbal Essences on my hair these days, and a special conditioner from the salon that's $20. My hair cut and color costs me $200 every 6-8 weeks.

I use Aveeno too! Love it. I used to only use Philosophy Hope in a Jar but I couldn't stand spending $35 a jar on it anymore.

It depends on HOW much of an improvement it makes.

I had HORRIBLE skin all my life and then finally found Proactive and I would eat bread and water every day to be able to afford it because it makes such a difference. And I have weird thick, wavy hair so if there was a shampoo that made it straight and normal without chemicals, I would pay for that too.

I agree .. I used to have terrible acne and I used to spend all kinds of stuff on products .. anything to clear it up. Well you will never believe what I am using that totally cleared it up - neutrogean deep clean cream skin wash. I cant believe this cleared my skin but I also use dermologica prodcuts too... so it might be a combo of both

Honestly, I spend a lot on my highlights because I had a bad experience once at a less pricey salon and it took me years to get my hair healthy again.

Also, I spend a lot on moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and when I buy the cheapie moisturizers, it shows!
