Anyway your QOTD isWas it love at first sight when you met your FH? If not when did you know you were in love with him?

For me it was not love at first sight. I guess I realized I loved him about a month after we started dating. I was going through a rough patch in my life and he helped me all the way with everything. He stuck by my side through everything and helped me through it!!!

It was definitely 'lust' at first sight LOL.
Actually the first time I saw him was a long time ago and he was dating someone else, as was I, but that did not stop me from thinking 'Damn he's cute' LOL. But when we reconnected year later at a mutual friend's BBQ, it all sparked from there. Over the next 2 months, 'lust' slowly turned into 'like', which turned into 'really like' which eventually turned into 'love', and I was bursting to say it to him, but he beat me too it (which I was glad because I was nervous as hell to say it to him).

HAHA! Definitely not. We were each others rebounds, and I remember telling all my friends that I just wanted to be his friend. I felt bad kind of leading him on, especially since I knew he had more than friends feelings for me, and to me he was a guy 'to spend time with'. I definitely fell in love with him as time went on, and I deifnitely fall even more in love with him as time goes on. He still reminds me, with anger sometimes, that I made him go shopping with me for a birthday gift for my ex lololol

First time we met we were w/ out ex's - after that meeting i kind of forgot about him lol.
But the night we hit it off - i liked him but it was not love at first site. He actually said those words to me first and I didn't hear him and just said 'thank you' thinking he said something else LOL.
I was at a pretty bad place so it took me some time to warm up to him and trust him.

FH and I met on St Patricks Day- we were out with mutual friends. There was a huge snowstorm the night before so I almost didnt go. We defintiely hit it off that day and I think we both felt a connection but we took things kind of slow in the beginning. It always cracks me up because when we met he said to me- ' I just want you to know, I can be a a$$hole' so now when I get mad at him, he always reminds what he told me the night we met LOL

It wasn't love at first sight, but I met many many people in HS and meeting him stuck out in my mind, as had meeting a few other people who turned out to be important in my life.
We developed a deep friendship before we started dating.

I knew I was in love with him a few weeks after we started dating because he was a completely different person from the guy I met 3 years before.....

FH and I met online...I knew I loved him weeks before we ever laid eyes on each other face to face.
But yeah, that first time I saw him in the baggage terminal at LGA...I knew for sure I was head over heels for him

I started talking to FH online and was so scared to meet him. But the moment I saw him walk towards me at Grand Central I knew he was the one. So yes it def was love at first sight. The feeling was mutual

No way lol - he was my good friends boyfriend. I was soo not interested.
I guess the first time I realized I loved him was the 2nd night we spent together - but he was still in a relationship.
I was kinda the other woman.
But it all worked out in the end - my friend/his ex is even coming to our wedding.. with her girlfriend/wife (long story lol)

If that's what you want to call it, then yes. I knew that he was the 'one' while still on our first date!!! We didn't exchange 'I Love You's' for a couple of weeks, but we talked about what kind of wedding we wanted to have about a week and a half in.

I really don't remember the 'exact moment' that i fell in love with FH, it kinda just happened ...i did however know when i first met him as corny as this may sound that he was different and that i had a gut feeling that he was someone special

Pretty much. We both fell in love quickly. FH told me the first night we met, he knew he was going to marry him. I knew pretty soon though. I knew he was special from that first date.

I definitely was lusting over him BIG TIME after the first time I met him, but it wasn't love at first sight. I met him outside the library at college and he asked me for a cigarette (we were both smokers at the time but both quit a couple of months into our relationship ) After giving him the cigarette he walked away and I remember telling my friend later in the day about this hot guy that just walked in and out of my life and that I probably wouldn't ever see him again (my college was pretty big). Well, we ended up running into each other again and FH initiated converation with me but I def lusted over him a lot when we first met! Didn't fall in love until a few months into our relationship!

It was not love at first sight. We met on Match.com and our first meeting it was okay. We met for 15 mins to see if we like each enough to have our first date. I had nothing to say good or bad. So we plan to meet the next day on a Sunday and drove all the way to Rehoboth Beach, DE. All the way there I've question him about his sex life, if he was a freak, what his likes and dislikes. I've told him what I thought of Germans because I've heard they are into golden showers etc. He answers the questions and never told me to shut up. On the way back to NY, I've fell asleep and when I woke up he was still driving me home. I didn't know this man from a hole in the wall. I thought I had f%^k up the date and would not see him again. As I was getting out the car, he asked can he call me tomorrow and would I like to see him again tomorrow. That's when I knew he was for me, love came later after he had met my other personalities . and he still didn't want to leave me. I have issues.

It was DEF lust at first site, and second, and third, and fourth and so on. He was on and off with his ex and we were just friends who got togther and did naughty things together. I think he realized how much he liked me when his best friend at the time started to like me. He realized he wasn't in love with his ex and we fell in love. We always had the potentiial too, he just wasn't ready.

My first date w FH was at Starbucks. Since he lived close to my prior job, it was just another 'check' for me in terms of meeting new people (I had just signed up for an online dating site and he was the 2nd guy I met from that site in real life)...We met for coffee and we ended up talking for a few hours. I didn't think I was 'in love' with him, but I def liked him as a friend and figured I could just hang out with him when I got bored or something...lol.
Fast forward about 1-2 months later and we were seeing each other a few times a week and then over time, I realized that the idea of not having him at all in my life depressed me..and I think that's when I realized I had deeper feelings than I had initially thought..

..it just might have been.... the night we met all his friends were gathered around me talking to me... one finally asked me what kinda guys i liked,.. I took a minute looked up and saw steve and said BALD GUYS!! Steve is FH. I never dated a bald guy. I always dated preppy all american athletes.These guys were so annoying i'd ay anything. I said that and steve just stepped foward and said.... im bald!!!! from that minute on we spoke every day!! and it was at a bar!!!the one place i said i'd never meet someone!

I was in a bar at a sorority pty and knew most of the people there. He walked in and i was instantly attacted to him and i saw a friend of mine go over to him and his friend. i went over to her and asked me to introduce him to me , she did and then went off to hook up with his friend. We have been together ever since and they didnt last the week. We were never friends always lover :)
