~ QOTD 12-14-09 ~

hey girls!!! I know some of you have said you didnt have time to eat at your wedding.. butif you did, what food stuck out the most?!!!!

please tell us the food and RH

or if you were a guest at a wedding, what was the best thing u have ever eaten at a wedding!!

Hi Barb! Thanks for taking one for the team and being BOTW for us!

At my own wedding I had time to eat the tilapia oreganata during dinner ... HOLY $HIT it was so good! It was perfectly done and with lots of breadcrumbs, just the way I like it! (This was at NRC.) Also the baby lamb chops were delish!!!

At someone else's wedding, I had the chilean sea bass at the Royalton and it was quite honestly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. It was perfection!

thank so being botw...it means alot to the girls still on here engaged cause we promied them we would stick around for everyone

best food...was my dnner at fox hollow...i had lemon chicken that they made for us cause its my fav

i heard ch food was good but we never got to eat it cause we were syaing our hellos and cake i only had one bite..the one he fed me lol

At our wedding I remember an orchettia pasta w/ sausage, and I want to say broccoli. Also we had a barbecue station that was to die for. DH's pick but I am so glad I went along with him. Oh, and the crepes. Actually all the food at our wedding was fantastic. Our guests were tough critics too (Italian family) & they all loved it. Our cake was so good too, from black forest bakery.

I was sick and didn't eat at all! But we ate our dinners the next day and OMG the Chilean Seabass with Lobster Risotto was SOOOO good!!

My RH was Lands End

The steak with gorgonzola sauce was amazing!!! But I would have to go with the appetizer because it was so unique... which was an herb waffle with tomato, mozzarella and sweet onion layers and a crispy crouton. It was yummy and unique.

And I ate every last bite of it. DH and I stopped our guests mid sentence and sat down the MINUTE they served it.

I have had that pasta at my parents parties when Lessings catered. Its super yummy. They do great food.

At my wedding I didnt get to eat much but at Ali's (coldasice) wedding I ate everything in sight! She had the same RH as me so it was awesome! My fav thing at CH was the fried calamari and the shrimp oreganata at dinner! Yummy!!!

Ummm DH and I ate like pigs at our reception!!!!!!!!!!

We made sure we really enjoyed our party-we missed out on the cocktail hour, food bc we were saying hello to everyone, but ate everything else.

The food that stuck out the most?? Our cake!!

DH and I actually got to eat at our own wedding. I think it's because Thatched Cottage serves everyone at the same time so we sat and ate too.

My favorite food was at the cocktail hour - the mashed potato bar! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made SURE we ate at our RH, because it's known for their food! We had the wedding at Villa Lombardi's...and Gail is right, the Shrimp Oreganato for the entree was AMAZING!

We picked at CH, had fried calamari, fresh mozz with peppers and tomatoes, pesto, putanesca, moussaka, pasta salad, chicken francese, chicken marsala, broccoli rabe and sausage, spinach and cheese crespelle....just a little bit and broken down between in the bridal suite before hand and during CH.

Then for the reception I was able to eat my full appetizer of eggplant rollentini, maybe half my salad, we didn't eat our pasta course at all but they wrapped it up for us to take home, then the entree I ate all my shrimp, the potato croquette, and left the veggies, we were so stuffed at that point!

We ate half our cake and a few bites of ice cream and maybe two mouthfuls of our cheesecake martini...it was hard to eat but we tried! Now I need to go to another wedding there as a guest LOL.

I made sure to def eat at least a little bit since I knew the food at the Miller Place in was fabulous! What stands out the most was the eggplant parm and the Chicken Monaco that I had for dinner. SOOOO YUMMY!!
