If there was one thing you could change about your venue, what would it be? I would want mine to have a separate cocktail room....

I would like to be the only wedding happening...and the bathrooms to be on the same floor as our room

I would want it to be less expensive!!

We got a really good deal on it, but still if it was cheaper it would be oh-so-nice!!

I would like it to have an outdoors cocktail hour, oh yea, less expensive would be nice as well.

the only thing i can think of is, i wish it was closer to our house. only because we have to go there the night of the rehersal dinner (because we're getting married at the RH)... so the entire bridal party has to drive 45 minutes to the RH, just for the rehersal... then drive all the way back for the dinner.

The time. Right now we have a 4ish hour gap between the church and the reception. We're meeting with our Banquet Manager on Wednesday -- to see what we can do.

I see a lot of posts that it bothers guests to run into other guests at a wedding is this true? That makes me nervous... it never bothered me as a guest, and it wouldn't really bother me as a bride... but I want my guests to feel AWESOME and WONDERFUL!

It's not that I would mind at all...I'd probably go give the other bride a hug!! Since our families are really meeting for the first time at the wedding, they won't know who is who anyway!! I went to a wedding once and ended up speaking to a girl in the bathroom who I thought was part of my friends wedding, we ended up walking towards different rooms, we thought it was pretty funny

i would change the bathrooms lol, and maybe have more of a view of the water from the ballroom and not just the cocktail room but i dont know how that would work lol

I wish there was more grounds. I fell in love with the inside of the place but I would like them to have more pic opportunities outside.

i wish the ceilings were a little higher and there werent pictures of fox getting hunted on the walls.. lol

I LOVE my hall but the one thing that bothered me was that the bathrooms are downstairs. Yes, there is an elevator and yes, there is a handicapped bathroom near the ballroom but it still bothers me!!

i think it's too each their own to be honest. a friend of mine got married this past April, and right outside his reception room was likr a balcony where people would go smoke. and it was all glass, so if someone was out there, they could see in and vice versa. the thing is... that balcony was shared between their wedding and the wedding next door. so while you were inside the reception room... there were strangers standing outside looking in at their wedding. i find that to be so unusual. but thats just me. some people dont care about stuff like that
