Good morning ladies happy hump day!! This week is going by so fast! So todays question is....
What is some advice you would give to our fellow brides-to-be? Some words of wisdom or something that happened to you that you werent expecting.
For me some words of wisdom would be when your setting up your budget include tips. I managed my budget but didnt include this and now I think I might go over...

I would say go with your gut and what works for you. Everyone has an opinion and will have something to say. I think its important to remember it is a celebration of your FH and yourself and your love.

To pick and choose your battles - some things have popped up that have really bothered me from my mom, FIL's, FH, FH's extended family and you just have to remember not everything needs to be a big production.
If you have a super involved family - people will have opinions. So just pick and choose which ones are worth it so you don't drive youself nuts and push people away.

Stay true to your self. I have gotten so many suggestions and opinions that it makes my head spin. Sometimes I have to stop and ask myself what I really want to have on my wedding day.

Try not to listen too much to other people's opinions, especially if they are not shelling out the $$ for it. The only area of this wedding where I will happily accept criticism or suggestion would be from my mother reagrding my wedding dress. She is paying for it and therefore I gladly hear anything she has to say - but still bearing in mind that it is my wedding, my dress, and i will have the final decision. But I have to say, me and mom share kind of the same taste when it comes to my dress.

do your research and don't be afraid to negotiate...I feel like the vendors can always come down in price. Don't feel like you have to rush to make a decision, make sure you're completely happy with your decision first.

Keep everything in perspective. It is only one day; don't lose sight of the true meaning of this day: it's the start of the rest of your life with your husband. The marriage is sooo much more important than the wedding. I think people forget it and lose sight of what's really important. Don't sweat the small things.
On your day, you're going to be sooo busy and so much is going on - don't forget to take some moments to stop with your husband and just enjoy yourselves.

Just relax. When things get hectic, stop, take a deep breath, and realize that this is one of, if not, the most important day of your life. Don't stress!!! You're starting a new life with the man of your dreams!!!
