morning girls....

some its monday morning.. BOO... let's do a simple one...


how are you bringing your own personal style to the wedding and incorporating FH's ideas too?

This is a great question:

There are quite a few things that our simply our own personal style.

For one, we both loove photos, looking past at memories...so we are hopeing to make the table numbers picutres of us growing up throughout the years. Like table 1, we'll both be about 1 year old...etc.

Another thing is butterflies. He always calls me his little butterfly, and theres also a song that is about butterflies...so I am getting little butterflies to put all over the place.

And, b/c I don't want to bore everyone I will only list one more... the candles. I light candles ALL THE TIME... so I wanted to make sure that there would be PLENTY of candles EVERYWHERE!!! Loove it!

Well we are bringing in shells and the beach, but not overboard, we are still keep it formal.

Since pink is my favorite favorite color we are incorporating pink, but without putting everyone in it, which makes fh happy especially since I chose to put everyone in a turquoise shade. Blue is his favorite color.

We love boating so we are coming into the reception by boat. And I am looking into getting his boat made into a grooms cake.

To bring in a little of the NJ Shore we are getting Salt Water Taffy from Berkeley and spreading it around the tables.

FH and I love to be the host for all parties so our personal touch to our wedding I have to say is convenience for our guests. since we have been a guest to over 20 weddings in th past 2 years we have tried to avoid all the incovenciences that we have had to endure.

Shuttles provided all night
Ceremony and reception in one place starting at 5:30pm
Saturday evening wedding
location close to home and a cab ride away for most
seating for all guests during cremony and CH
goodies for OOT guests
rd close to hotel

FH loves beer and brews his own so I am letting him brew beer as our favors to give with bottle openers... so that is his contribution.

anyway...the one thing that stood out to me about our personal wedding style would have to be our attire...i'm known amongst my friends as the tasteful one and considering i work in the apparel industry, selecting my perfect wedding day attire was HUGE pressure and making sure everything looks good timeless and classy, so we're going with pale golds and champagnes for a ballroom wedding...but overall we're hoping to have a laid back wedding...whatever happens happens right ? life is full of surprises anyway no matter how much you plan for it

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything...is that bad?

All I can say is that the wedding is all my style and does not reflect FH at all.........he wanted to elope and just go to City Hall....he doesn't have a wedding style!!!

no.. you have more important things to worry about... you are getting married SOOOO SOON!!!

Just where we're having it is a major representation of who we are and our style. We're definitely into good food and we like nice things lol.

We're doing a cheesecake martini bar too, which is definitely me. I love cheesecake, and martinis haha. Maybe we'll work some venetian masks into teh decor too, which I love, and the foreighn language table names since I love languages. I guess it's really all me, FH doesn't have too many of his stamps on it lol.
