Happy December, dear ladies!

My question today is:

What about children? Have you and FH discussed having kids? How many,when, what do you want to have and names!

FH and I have already been talking about wanting to have children for years...(FMIL metioned she wants triplet grandchildren!!! I told her go ttalk to your daughter over there ) We've agreed two is good, given our financial situation and our tolerance for aggravation. We'd like to be married for about a year before we start trying, but we're hoping to have them soon after that because I will be THIRTY by then (!!!) I don't really care what we have, but I think I'd like to have girls if I had to choose... and I think i'd want two of the same so they'd have that special sister/sister or brother/brother bond, cause I didn't have that, I only have brothers. We've talked baout names, and I love names like Kayleigh, Kylie, Corinne, Claire, Lucas, Ryan, ...FH doesn't seem to agree. He's insisting on James, but my name is Jamie and my dad's name is James... enough already.

Lengthy response as usual from me. Can't wait to see what you guys have to say! have a great First of December, Christmas is cooooommmmiiiiiinnggg!

Yup and we will probably start trying for a family right after the wedding since we both will be almost 30. I would love to have my first baby before Im 30. We are probably going to try for 3 but ill be happy with even having one. I cant wait to have babies and neither can FH. He is so good with kids and that makes me extremly happy that my kids will have a wonderful loving father. I have a few names I love Regan for a girl or Angelina( my grandmas real name but she hates and I LOVE IT). Boy names are hard

We definitely want kids, but not right away. We would like to have money saved up so that I can stay home at first (at least until they are in school). We definitely want more than one. FH wants boys. I'm not partial. I feel like boys might be easier though. We will definitely have at least two, maybe three. As far as names go we love Victoria, Brianna, Ariana, Anastasia for a girl or Christopher, Anthony for a boy.

FH and I love kids. We want to start trying right on the honeymoon : ) Actually he wanted to start a month before the wedding but that isn't happening. We want to have three. Two boys and One girl. We like Trevor and Copper for boys. Logan for a girl.

We definitely want kids... we would like to have around 3 at most. We wouldn't mind some twins either . FH was gung-ho about have a HM baby BUT I would at least like to wait a little while after the wedding to start trying. We are not planning on taking our HM until December of 2011 so maybe it technically could be a HM baby... we'll see

Personally, I would love to have 2 boys and a girl and as far as names go..

Boys: Seamus, Evan, Tyler
Girls: Abbey, Riley, Lindsay, Sophie

We love the idea of having kids, but the time has to be right. We also want 3 or 4 kids. Not sure about names yet.

Well FH is a 1st grade teacher - so kids are a definiate. I will be 29 for 2 days when we get married so children by 30 is TOTALLY out of the question!!!

I want kids but right now it is the farthest thing from my mind - I'm not there mentally. We discussed having one and adopting another. My grandmother was an orphan so adopting a child means the world to me.

I'm all about taking life one step at a time - so once we are married we will start talking about the kids process. My parents were married 11 years before they had me - I'm not in any rush.

FH and I definitely want to have children but probably going to wait a good 3 or 4 years after we get married to start trying. We will both be 25 when we get married and in our last year of medical school. We both feel we need to get through most of residency before we put a baby into the picture. I would ideally like 3 kids..but depending on how early we start maybe just 2. I dont mind girls or boys. I have 3 brothers so it would be nice to have maybe 1 girl and 2 boys. FH and I love the names Elena and Sophie for a girl and for a boy it has to have FH's name in the name which is Anardi (family tradition). we like Nicolo Anardi.

I totally agree with Weezy Girl - I want kids but right now it is the farthest thing from my mind - I'm not there mentally. FH is in his 2nd year of med school, so we're totally not ready...he still has 2.5 more years of school then 3 - 4 years of residency ahead of him. We'd like to wait til he's in his last year of residency or maybe when he's finished and hopefully we'll be financially fortunate enough for me to stay home with the baby. Right now, we're just enjoying being young and free and although we want kids, we'd much rather wait even though we'll be a little older.

As far as sex of the baby, I grew up with a sister and he with 2 brothers, so neither of us know what its like to grow up with the opposite sex. I really don't care if we have boys/girls, but I'm a girly person, so I'd love to have a girl! Then, I think ugh, girls can be b!tches and they're expensive and a lot of work, so I'm glad we don't have the option to choose what sex we want to have! We'd like to have somewhere between 2 and 4 maybe? Not really sure, I guess we'll see where life takes us!

Names - Girls - I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE Antonina and we'd call her Nina. I hope we have a girl just so I can use that name! I also like Ava, Eva, Adriana
Boys names are harder...There is a tradition in FH's family and according to that, our son's name would be Joseph Anthony. We're all about tradition, but neither of us are crazy about following it, so we'll see. We also like Frank. We can't seem to decide on many boys names, girls name are much easier for us.

FH and I also def want kids. He would like 1 and I want 2 but twins run in both our fam his mom is a twin and my grandfather had twin brothers. I have a feeling were gunna have twins first but I would love to have a boy and girl n call it a day!!!
For names I have to have the boy's middle name John for both my grandfathers and my bro middle name. And for a girl I would use the middle name Marie for my FH aunt that passed away and its my grandma's middle name. But as far as first names there will be many discussions we have such diff tastes for names should be fun!!

We're aiming for 2...we thought it would be better to not be outnumbered But twins run in my family, so with my luck we will have 1, and then twins!! For names we like Adam for a boy, and for a girl I have always wanted Kayleigh and Emma, but FH's sister's name is Emily and he thinks that Emma is old fashioned...though he loves Francesca, go figure, and that name happens to be in my family, so who knows! Hooray babiessss

Although I do want two kids in the future, I want to wait a few years after we are married before I even consider having any..I want to be at least 26 before we start trying, but I would love to have one boy and one girl, although whatever God gives me is fine I have two sisters and FI has a brother, so two boys or two girls is fine also.

We def want kids after the wedding as soon as we get settled into our own place. All i know is.....my daughter is going to be Zoey....we already agreed ad fell in love....as for the boy names....its up in the air. FH is adiment that we not use his family name....but....I dont want to go against family wishes....it's his arguement to have,...not mine

Well we are planning on starting a year or two after getting married because I want to be done having children by the time I am 35......I really only want two!!

We want to have two kids-I would love to have a boy and a girl but we will be happy however it turns out. We would probabaly start trying a year into our marriage but it will al depend on where we are at that point.

I want to have 4 kids, I even have the names picked out.

FH has 3 brothers and wants maybe 2 kids but we both decided it depends on how much money we're making since we want to spoil our kids.

I think we'll have our 1st kid before I hit 30... I'll be 25 at the wedding so within that 1st 5 years I'll pop out kid #1

FH and I def want to have kids. We want to have either 3 or 4..it would be nice if we had boths girls and boys. When we get married we will be 26/27 so we're going to wait about 2-3 years before starting a family. We will def have a Jonathan (FH's name) if we have a boy...not sure of what names we would choose for a girl.

FH & I already have children...he has 2 from previous marriage, 1 for me & 1 together ...so no more children for us

I want 3 he wants 4, we shall see who wins that battle!! For a girl I love Emily, but his sister is Emily so my second choice is Elizabeth Emily. For a boy we are thinking of Matthew Jr.

We want to have some alone time after we get married, but I guess when it happens it happens..
