good morning my lovely ladies!!!

TGIF!!!!!!!!!

so, lets talk about our FH's. is there any part of the wedding that was really important to him? ie, photog, video, flowers, etc.

Chocolate fountain. Since day 1, I haven't heard the end of it about the need to have a chocolate fountain. Everything else he's been pretty agreeable with and he doesn't seem to have any other wedding priorities

cigars....he wanted them but instead of a roller we hired a gorgeous woman to get all dolled up and walk around with those old style cigarette trays and offer them to our guests.
he also wanted a fancy custom aisle runner...after telling him about them from you ladies he wanted to go all out and spend $$$ because he said he wanted me to walk down the aisle on the most beautiful thing I could find....
he also like me, insisted on a band...we are not dj people

The food and the ceremony HAD to be on/near the water lol. Other than that he's given me free reign.

There isn't 1 thing in particular...I'm really lucky b/c my FH is really into the planning and the details, he's been an equal part in planning/booking/registering/etc.

He insisted on the RH ... refused to go anywhere else put the deposit down at the first meeting. HA. After he won that, b/c I did love the hall anyways, he was very picky about the photographer. We both were really, but he instisted on getting the biggest package no matter what the price b/c that's the one thing that we will have forever. After those were both booked, he said it was all up to me. LOL

he wanted someplace that had GREAT food and he wants the strings we're having at the cermony to play a Phish instrumental son while people are walking in.

The DJ! FH is half spanish so he really wanted to make sure the music was awesome, he also has been talking about having a live percussionist since we went to our first showcase, so we got one, and I have to say it will be pretty awesome!

DJ was most important to FH. He definitely wanted someone to keep the dance floor packed all night. He was also pretty particular about the limos...he made it very clear to them that they must be spotless or he'd send them back!

yes! FOOD! hes vegan so he was insistent than all of the food is at least vegetarian. That is the only thing he has been consistently harassing me about which is fine and booked. Everyone can suck it up and eat vegetarian for a day.

HAHAHAHA mine is the same way!!! the chocolate fountain is a must.....and after I saw him get it all over himself at the tasting I don't want him anywhere near me at the wedding when it comes out

Haha the Mashed potato bar. Our hall gives it to us as a regular option for the cocktail hour and FH is obsessed with it. He's too funny

Budget

Overall, I would say food quality and level of service. He definitely didn't want the food to be sub-par since that's really important to us and our families, but he also wanted to be treated with a very high level of service and accomodation. He was a little hesitant to go with what we did at first because of stories he had read (on here of all places, little stalker that he is!), and really wanted to choose another RH. Luckily, I won out, and ok, our RH wouldn't set up our CPs for us, but they did arrange an improptu tasting for us which isn't normal policy, so that put them back in FH's good graces.
