Good morning ladies... Time to flash back a little bit in time.
How did everyone meet their FH? Did he ask you out? Or, did it just sorta end up being you were suddenly dating?
Also, we'lll make this two parts today... lol
Did you have butterflies in your stomach whenever you were around eachother? What was your first date like?
I met FH at a Christmas party back in 2003 for my brother...I was the desginated driver for him. Sure enough, he left me at this party, and this geogous guy started talking to me. It was great. We ended up yapping the whole party without even knowing eachothers names! Sure enough I called him like 2 days later, and we just started hanging out all the time. After a month went by, we really didn't know the 'exact' date so to speak, so we made one up! HA. I had the butterfiles for the first year and a half.!!! I mean, it took me forever to find something to wear, and I was never satisfied with my hair. LOL. He was the longest relationship I had, so I knew something was special. LOL> Our first date he brought me to a bowling alley... I warned him I didn't bowl since I was like 10 so I got gutter after gutter. Sure enough, he went and the ball sorta turned toward the end...the first time I was that in real life! HAHA> And, that's when he finally told me that he bowled in a league!! Nice! lol. Now in less then 5 months he'll be my husband!!

FH's best friend in college happened to be my best friend from Law school and after seeing me be in one bad relationship after another, my friend said, 'you should meet my friend Justin'. we hung out and the rest is history!
my entire relationship with FH has been a crazy whirlwind - we knew eachother through our mutual friend for 2 years but we only dated for 7 months before we got engaged! i guess you can say i have had butterflies the entire time!

Re: QOTD 12/15
FH works with my sisters best friend. For literally YEARS I had been hearing 'you have to go out with Joe' and I never agreed to the set up.
Finally after about 5 years and countless bad relationships and awful blind dates, my sister's friend gave him my number without my permission. We hit it off over the phone, went out for a nice steak dinner on our first date and have been together ever since! He proposed on the 2nd anniversary of our first date.
Yes, the butterflies are still there.

That's exactly like ours! We knew each other for about two years (but he was living in another state so didn't see each other more than once/twice) then we 're-met' and a new years eve party, had crazy butterflies, did long distance for a few painful months until he moved back to NY!!! then we only dated 6 months before we got engaged too. . but funny thing is NO ONE told us we were moving too fast - usually we are both the ones who try to 'slow down' our relationships in the past so I guess everyone else just knew 'this was it too' plus I'm in my mid 30's so WHY WAIT!!! we gotta have

we met in a yahoo chat room.... i have a bunch of friends from all over NY and we would all 'hang out' in the chat room together. FH came in one night (well apparently he was trying to chat with me for a while) started chatting with me and all my friends were like no no don't do it ( i wasn't really looking to date ANYONE at the time) but for some reason a little voice in my head told me to chat with him..... the next day we started talking on the phone..... we set up a 'meeting date' for that friday night
well we didn't last that long waiting....... we were talking the next day while i was at work so he asked if it was ok if he came up to my job since he was off work.... he stoped by i was a hugeeeeeeeeee ball of nerves since i really liked him but i wasn't sure if i was ready to date yet. we talked a little then i got busy and he left
he called... not 5 min later....... we set up a meeting place after i got off and we just hit it off and have been together ever since

Re: QOTD 12/15
FH and I were set up by friends almost five years ago. A friend of mine, and someone FH played collge ball with were arrested for DUI ( as they both had a bal of .08 but were under 21). That being said they were mandated to attend some county class in order to get their licenses back. So my friend tells me she met some guy at the class, and I was like yeah that's a great place to meet a guy. Anyway, they started dating and introduced us. They broke up right after introducing us, and we all kinda feel out as friends. It is a crazy story. Not one of those mushy mushy romantic ones.
After we met FH told me he wanted to go out on an official date. However, I was leaving for CA on a surf trip. I was sure I wouldn't see him when I got back. He called me while I was in CA and I tried to call him but we kept missing each others calls. Well when I came back from CA he called! and we went out on our first official date. We have been inseperable ever since. He proposed five months after our one year anniversary right before christmas. Three years later were getting married!

FH and I met through a mutual friend. We both had off on Fridays and it was around July. So I mentioned that I wanted to start going to the beach every Friday. He said he did as well. So we ended up hanging out all the time. We were just 'friends' for about a month. Finally one night when he was driving me home I told him he needed to just kiss me already. And he did. And the rest is history.
I had serious butterflies in my stomach for the first 3 months of our relationship

FH and I met at work about 2.5 years ago. I was just doing the job for the summer and never expected to meet someone there. When I first saw him, I was sooooooooo attracted to him and had butterflies in my stomach right away. I could tell he was nervous around me too. He finally asked me to lunch but I wasnt sure if it was just like a 'co-worker' thing. Then finally one Friday after work he followed me to my car and asked if I wanted to get a drink. We stayed out allllll nite and have been inseperable ever since. So weird how things work out. And yes he still gives me butterflies and we are getting married in August!!

Re: QOTD 12/15
My FH found me on online in November of 2003. I was alittle nervous, but he always made me blush. So we went out and he took me to dinner and down by the BLuff in Kings Park. We hit it off really well. Then to make the night even better, we kissed in the rain. We went out for a few months and we started to talk about getting married one day and he popped the question. The funny thing about us is, parts of our family have known each other for soo many years and we think we have seen each other and here we are 5 years later getting ready to say 'I DO'. I cant wait. I am soo excited, so is he LOL.

when we first got together i would get butterflies when we first kissed, corny but true lol, i was only 17..our first date we went out to eat, then a movie, i thought he was annoying because he was asking me 1029494 questions about myselkf and i was on my friend, so i was bitchy lol
i didnt kiss him though, because we took the subway all the way to my house & when we got to my block my older brothers friends were outside & im like umm no im not going to kiss u with all these guys here so my bro can come and kick my *** lol
..second date was same thing but after we went to battery park city, and to this place called 'purple lights', its a park with a lot of lights lit up at night, really pretty. and there we had our first kiss

Re: QOTD 12/15
We met at Starbucks, his battery ended up dying so he had to ask for a jump, and I was the lucky sucker who helped him. It was pretty funny, because we couldn't even get it to work off of my car because there was a weird bar across my battery, and we had to end up getting another guy to come help, but I stuck around and we bonded. We exchanged numbers, and he called me early the next week to ask me to dinner. We went on our first date a week after we met to Z-Pita in Port Jeff, and we've been together ever since.
