Hello this qustion will not be wedding related today.
What are your thoughts on plastic surgery? Have you ever gotten it, will you ever get it?
I personally love the idea. I think anything to help you look better and make you feel better about yourself is fantastic. I wish I had the b*lls to actually go through with it. I am so scared on anastesia (sp?), needles, Drs that I don't think I would ever be able to do it otherwise I would have had stuff done and definately do stuff later in life. But we will see, maybe after I have kids things will look so bad that I will have no choice!!!

Not against it at all, as long as people don't go overboard and they don't look all fake and plastic then its ok. If i had the money i would probably definitely get me some

unless you have a birth defect or a medical condition which plastic surgery could correct, i think its a big waste of money.

I'd do it if I had the money... but I'd only want select things done. I'm not against it as long as you have a good Dr. like Dr. Rey on Dr. 90210. His work is beautiful.

i am actually torn about plastic surgery...on one hand i think that if you have the money and really want to get something done then why not....as long as they don't go overboard.....but on the other hand i feel like people should be happy with whatever they have and not feel the need to change it...
either way i am not sure if i'd ever have the guts to do it!

i think it depends on what you are doing and why you are doing it and also how much of it you are doing. if you do too much and look all fake then its a horrible idea.
if you have a self esteem issue and think that plastic surgery is going to cure it 100% then i disagree. it may help but you will still have issues inside with the person you are.
if i had the money i would get a nose job. my self esteem is fine right now about my nose...i've been living with it for 26 years and it doesnt stop me from doing anything but i would get a nose job to get the bump out of it so i wouldnt mind taking pics that show my profile

im big on you are who you are and God made you that way for a reason.. if plastic surgery will help you medically... (breast reductionor lost a lot of weight and you need skin removed) the im all for it.
my FH put it perfectly.. i really hate my nose and would actually like to get a nose job.. he said ok thats fine... but what happens when we have kids and they wonder why mommy has a cute nose and they have my old nose.. LOL it short of shows them that you didnt like it and would probably make them hate their nose bc of that.
but everything else like face lifts, lypo, ckeek implants, eye lifts.... im not a fan. aging is a beautiful thing... and a natural thing.. just let it be. and you are who you are for a reason.
ask me this again in 40 years... i doubt my answer will be the same

im completely against it. my aunt had countless face lifts and she ruined herself. she used to be sooo beautiful. i would never ever do it. but to each his/her own lol

I always say when I am done having kids I will get slightly bigger boobs and a lift...only since mine are kida small to begin with haha

Wow Danielle i never put it in that perspective and thought about how my kids would look - that is such a good point!!!

I always thought I would be against it...and then just yesterday I looked in the mirror and decided I need botox around my eyes! But I'm too much of a baby to have it done

Well I am not really sure. I would love to have it done after I am done having children....like fix my boobs and tummy....but I have seen what it has done to people. FH's mother had a tummy tuck and she thought after that she could eat whatever she wanted...the thing with a tummy tuck is the fat gets distributed to other areas and now she looks like a line backer!
